Hearing the small beeping of my alarm I shifted away from it groaning slightly. I hated that sound, it always haunted my mornings like a lingering hangover.
Just as the clock stopped I could hear the small pitter patter of feet huredly running to my door. Without another second to spare the door flung open and a small boy climbing onto my bed

"Pizza time!"
The voice brought a smile to my face as I sat up looking down at the brunette who was filled with joy and energy

"You got that right Gregory"

I yawned watching my brother begin to jump up and down on my comfortable bed, ruining my covers

"Okay okay! Buddy calm down! Go talk to mum and pops while I get ready alright?"

With a quick giggle and a hug he bolted out the door and down the hallway. As he disappeared I rubbed my eyes adjusting to the dim lights in my room. Looking back to the device on my nightstand I read the time '3:07'.

I had to wake up early for work and somehow Gregory got accustomed to it. For a twelve year old it amazed me, even for me someone in their late 20s it was hard for me

"Alright.."

Standing infront of my floor length mirror I stared at the security guard uniform letting my eyes drift to the gun holster that was attached to the belt on my waist. ' You got this ' My mind spoke as both my mother and father slipped into my room with Gregory pushing in-between them.

They must have had a hell of a time waking up at three in the morning

"Hun do you really have to wear that?"

My mother asked with a yawn following along with her words. I chuckled grabbing the hunk of metal that rested on my dresser and sliding it into its respective spot, securing it with a reassuring click. Meanwhile the smaller human latched onto my leg without a second thought

"Yes Mum, I'd rather be prepared than have to fist fight someone, especially with Gregory there and other kids"

She sighed worryingly as my father pitched in maybe to help my mother's mood turn up

"I'd rather have her protect Gregory and herself with that then a close ranged weapon"

Me and my father agreed on almost everything, we found ourselves growing a stronger relationship over time because of it. Whilst me and my mother we're a different story. We agreed yes but it happened rarely. Eventually though just as me and my father our bond grew tighter the more we could accept eachothers different opinions.

"If that doesn't work Freddy will save us! Right Y/N?"

Gregory looked up at me with his biggest, warmest smile. He always looked forward to seeing the animatronics at this time even though he couldn't interact with them since I didn't have enough clearance to let Gregory have one on one time with them
