(Sasuke's POV)

I set down the controller and rub my hand over my face. This wasn't like me. I can't believe I actually came over; that was a stupid idea.

I sigh and glance over at Sakura, who had passed out a couple minutes ago. She looked so cute, snuggled up in her blanket, ice cream carton forgotten in her lap.

I stare at her for a while, wondering why this girl is so different from the others. It's not her appearance, she was just as beautiful, if not more beautiful, than the rest of the girls that had thrown themselves at me. Maybe it's her personality. Not a single one of the girls I'd known would have sat on the couch for hours, playing Portal and eating ice cream straight from the carton. Sakura was more... relaxed somehow.

My mind goes back to an hour ago, when Sakura asked me why I came over so late, and I inwardly groan in humiliation.

"Okay, but why so late?" she asks nonchalantly.

"I, uh, couldn't wait until tomorrow to see you," I say quietly, wanting to crawl in a hole and die of embarrassment.

"Oh, okay," she replies, giggling a little bit.

"Hm."

I cringe slightly. I've never shared my feelings with anyone, or even given a them a reason for anything when they asked for one. After all, nobody needed to know my business. But why did I share things with her without a second thought? The world may never know.

I click the button on my phone and look at the time. 1:47. Damn. I have a class at eight. Welp, this was a bad idea. But I don't regret it for a second.

I look down at Sakura again, and gently take the almost empty ice cream carton off her lap. I put one arm under her legs, then the other behind her back, picking her up and carrying to her room bridal-style. I skillfully manage to pull down the sheets, still holding her, then I set her down and cover her up. And I don't know what compelled me to do it, but before I left, I gave her a soft kiss on the forehead. I close the door to her room and turn everything off in the main room before walking out of the room altogether. I slowly walk across the hall to my own dorm, going inside and closing the door. I lay my head back against the cool wood.

Sasuke Uchiha, what is happening to you?

(Sakura's POV)

I roll over and snuggle down into my covers, noticing for the first time in five minutes that there's not sunlight streaming in through the window. I giggle quietly. I just had a dream that Sasuke had kissed me. That's right, ladies and gentlemen. He planted one, right on my big, wide forehead. It might've been just a dream, but it still felt nice nonetheless. I sigh contentedly. I check my phone, wondering what time it is. 4:58. Wow, I'm never up so early.

I stretch out on my bed, then get up and walk to my closet. I might as well go do something today, since my next class is at 2. Unlike most people that go here, I don't have an everyday schedule. I only have one or two classes a day, three at most. It's much easier than having six or seven classes a day.

I rifle around in my closet, finally settling on a casual yellow dress and some leggings. It is almost October, you know.

I walk to the bathroom, leaving my clothes on my bed, then grab a towel and throw it over the top of the shower. I turn the water on, and while I'm waiting for it to heat up, I sit on the lid of the toilet, unlocking my phone so I can play a short level of candy crush.

Not even a minute later, I'm undressing and getting into the shower. I sing quietly as I rub shampoo into my hair, not wanting to wake Hinata up with my usual, obnoxious singing. I step out of the steamy shower and into the even steamier bathroom, picking up my towel and wrapping it around myself.

I saunter into my bedroom, seeing it was lighter outside, but not by much. I get dressed slowly, wondering what I'll do while I'm out. Maybe get some shampoo and stuff? We are kind of low on that.

Once my hair is brushed and I'm dressed, I do a once-over in the mirror, nodding my head in approval. I check my phone again for the time, and find out it's only six o'clock. I sigh in annoyance. That's way too early to go out somewhere. I walk into the kitchen and look in the fridge and almost settle for orange juice, but Ino unexpectedly texts me.

Wanna go get some coffee?

I pump my fist up in the air, suddenly full of energy and excitement at the prospect of coffee.

Sure, I text back. You're up unusually early.

Oh, be quiet. I'll be at your dorm in about ten minutes or so.

Mkay.

I set my phone down on the counter, only a little bit upset that I only got about four hours of sleep. Sasuke did kiss me, after all. I giggle, putting a hand over my mouth. It was only a dream, but still. I can't help but think that things will actually happen between us.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Okay guys, my chapters are seriously short. I'm gonna have to make up for that sometime soon. Anyway, I know this chapter is boring, but there's gonna be some stuff in the next part that'll have you fangirling. It'll probably be longer too, so yay!
