MYLA's mum lead the way to Diagon Alley and it was exactly how Myla imagined it from her mum's stories. So much color everywhere and people everywhere talking. Myla gasped at all the storefronts. So many things to get here! After getting her books and her robes, Myla went and got a barn owl which she named Cassiopeia after reading about a constellation called by the same name. Finally, it was time to get a wand. Marlene went to get some groceries and left Myla at Ollivander's. First, she tried an 11-inch, unicorn hair one. That wasn't it. And after trying out a few more wands, Ollivander handed her a Maple Wood, Dragon Heartstring, 14-inch wand and that was it. Myla purchased the wand, happy with it. After getting everything they needed, Myla and Marlene left Diagon Alley.
[Time Skip to September 1st]
Marlene and Myla drove their muggle car to Kings Cross Station and were immediately met by Molly Weasley and her children. Percy, Fred, George, Ron and Ginny were just getting ready to go to Platform 9 and 3/4 when Marlene said with a bright smile on her face, "Oh, Molly, how lovely to see you!" Marlene knew Molly since the very beginning and Myla and the Weasley kids had not met before as Marlene was very protective of Myla and didn't let her meet people or go outside. Myla only had books and her mother to keep her company and so Myla never had friends except for books and her mother. Myla stood shyly behind her mother. "Oh! Marlene, it has been quite long. How are you? Oh, hello! You must be Myla, am I right?" Mrs. Weasley asked Myla. "Y-yes." Myla stuttered. "Well, we'd better get going!" Mrs. Weasley said, and everyone went to Platform 9 and 3/4.
Coming onto the train, Myla met a girl called Chloe Allen. They were looking for an empty compartment and eventually came across a compartment which had 2 boys, which Myla recognized as two of the Weasley children, and asked if they could sit there. "Sure, but we're waiting for one of our friends-" said one. "So, get ready to squish up." said the other. "Um, alright." Chloe said. "So," Chloe said, once they'd settled down in the compartment. "What're your names? Mine is Chloe Allen but call me Cee or I'll kill you in your sleep." She said, seriously. "Alright, Cee, mine is Myla Mckinnon," Myla said with a bright smile, similar to her mother's. "Wait, aren't you that shy girl who stood behind that lady mum knew?" one of the two boys asked. "Er, yes, I am" Myla said. Just then, a boy came in. "Hey Lee!" the boys said at the same time. "He-wait who are those two?" The boy, who's name was Lee Jordan, asked. "Ah yeah, the girl with black hair is our mother's friend's daughter and the girl who looks similar to us is her friend." One of the twins explained. "We have names you know." Cee said with her hands on her hips. "Anyways, Myla and I are going to get changed." She finished pulling Myla out of the compartment.
