Standing in front of the door with a 'K-Naoi' written on it was never sent a good feeling for me. It was either about a new case or a case from the past to solve again.

Sighing deeply, I twisted the knob of the door and pushed it to open. Inside was a man with a black suit, sitting in a rolling chair while his back was facing me. I locked the door and hesitantly walked closer to him.

"Dad". I mumbled to get his attention.

He finally turned in front. "I told you not to call me that when it's time for work". He said as he removed his black hat and put it over his table before looking directly at my eyes.

I cleared my throat. "I'm sorry, Mr.Naoi". I said and bowed as a sign of respect.

"Alright. Now sit down".

As he said, I sat down on the chair and inserted my hands inside of my pocket.

"I know you know why I called you here-".

"Just tell me what case I have to solve again, Mr. Naoi". I interrupted. That sounds unrespectful but nevermind, I just don't feel good today. Maybe because I'm already exhausted.

He smiled. "You really like your work, aren't you?".

"You knew I do, Mr. Naoi. But rather than that, I'd like to rest too. I'm also a human". I tiredly muttered as I leaned my back on the chair.

"I know, Rei. But you need to finish this case. It's the last one. After this, you can take a rest". He said that lighten up my feeling. Hopefully this case is not as big as what I'm thinking.

"Review this file". He gave me a brown envelope that has a 'case 101' written on the upper side. My eyes widened upon reading it.

"Case 101?!". I muttered loudly.

"Yes, it's case 101".

I unbelievably looked at him. "But Mr. Naoi, you know how big this case is!".

"I know. That's why you're assigned with it". He simply said as he clasps his hands.

"I don't think I can do this-".

"You surely can, Rei". He interrupted.

I sighed in defeat as I stared at the envelope.

"I'll give you two months for this case. I have a trust with you. Hopefully you won't disappoint me, mhm?".

"2 months?! Mr. Naoi, I can solve a case in just a month or two but not as big as this. You know how long it can take to solve a big case, right?". I said unbelievably. This is a murder case. There's no way I can solve this in just two months for pete's sake!

"I know I know. But we don't have much time for this case. Come on, I believe you can do this. You can leave now". He said as he leaned his back on his chair, sign that the we're done already. "Oh, I forgot. The kid left from the massacre is at the Korea at the moment. So you have to find her first in order to start your plans".

My eyes widened. "What? I'll go back to Korea?!".

"You heard it right".

"But I just came home yesterday. It's our school vacation. Don't tell me I'll go back there-".

"YES. YOU WILL GO BACK THERE. Now pack your stuffs and your flight will be tomorrow morning". My jaw remained dropped as I stared at him blankly. "You can... leave now".

Without saying anything, I bowed and left him inside. I went directly to my own room and put the envelope on the desk.

I turned on the light and grabbed my bag on my bed as I put my stuffs inside of it.
