Aren watched me turn around to Jules. He smiled and wrapped his long arms around my thin body. He nuzzled my neck.
"I've missed you a lot too, sister. Now tell me, what has your boyfriend done to call me randomly in school like this?"
I sighed and broke the hug, starting to pull on my nails nervously. My heart skipped.
"He.. he has done a lot of things," I replied, unsure of what to say next.
"Hm.. I can see that. You're worrying if you actually can reply on Aren, aren't you?" asked Jules.
"I assume so. If there's a reasonable reason for it I'd tell you about it, but I can't. Because this isn't a reasonable thing," I said, continuing to play with my nails.
"You're afraid I would judge you because of what you feel about another guy? That's what you're trying to tell me?" Jules asked, putting his hand on my shoulder.
I nodded, and glanced behind me. Around the corner I saw Aren talk with Leia. My heart stopped beating.
"I don't know if I can trust him to stay with the same loyalty as before. As in childhood, Jules," I added, emotional.
Jules pulled me into another comforting hug. He kept me in his grip, meanwhile my eyes were tearing up. He wouldn't do this if it wasn't serious. And he's the kind who never takes things seriously, seriously he isn't just like that.
He released his grip around me.
"Let's get you back home. You need to relax a little bit," he said.
"Mhm.. thanks, brother. For understanding me," I replied.
"Always, sister.."

I watched Jenny and Jules leave the school hand in hand. I know they are good siblings, almost like best friends, but jealousy can't stop me from flooding through my stomach, knotting itself up. I felt hatred for Jules just this moment. I was supposed to walk with Jenny, walk her home and make her comfortable. Instead I stood here with my arms wrapped around Leia's waist, waiting to automatically make my move.
"Leia.. I just can't. I'm not ready yet," I whispered.
She sighed, letting go of my neck. A weak smile appeared on her face.
"McDonald's, Saturday 13.00," she said, kissing my cheek. "Love you baby."
I nodded, letting go of her hand. Feeling of regret and jealousy was kept in my stomach, but another thing as well. Love for Leia and Jenny, meanwhile batted for Jules. If I'd get allowance to say it myself, I'd rather be Jenny's brother than boyfriend. It's just, Jules gets away with much more things than what I do. Nowadays, she has been replying a lot to Jules, only Jules.
"Aren, let's go back to class Dude. Don't worry about Jenny, you have the school's hottest girl in your arms, Leia! Besides, Jenny doesn't deserve my man. She isn't worth it, if she actually loved you, she wouldn't go to her jerk to brother," said Jay, my best friend.
"But she's something. Maybe not for you, but for me she is. She's my world, even though Leia doesn't want me to realize that. Which she's good at keeping me away from! Jay, help me," I groaned.
"Not now. Let's go to class," said Jay.

"The chocolate is really good. Since when could you make it?" I asked, turning around to Jules.
"Not so long ago," he replied. "I've learnt a bit from mom also."
"You miss her same lot as I do, aren't you, Jul?" I asked.
Jules smiled weakly and sat down next to me on the couch.
"Of course I miss her. Right now, more than anything. She always had this.. moody glory around her body. Nothing was negative around her, she was always positive," nodded Jules.
"She would make jokes off Aren also," I nodded. "Just like something 'He isn't worth the attention, think of him as a log on a Christmas tree. What do you adore the most? The tree or the log? The log of course! Your people around your surroundings' or something like that," I said.
Jules chuckled. He put his cup down on the small table in front of us.
"Jenny.. Why do you even love me? I'm just your step brother after all," he asked.
"Because.. you're like a best friend to me. You're always someone I can rely on," I said. "Hey! You took me home because we would cheer up! Not hey hey, ima shower a cold one."
Jules sighed, and smiled.
"You're right sister. Let's get going to make some cookies or something."
"BAKING PARTY!" I cheered, clapping my hands.
