The night sky was clear with a few clouds and a full moon shining bright, lighting up the woods. 'Just keep to the shadows', the voice of her instructor rang in the back of her head. She made sure she moved between the trees without being seen or making a sound. Like a spec of dust in the wind.

Her first assignment was a pretty big one, but her instructor and boss  had full faith in her that she could pull it off. The assignment was to capture the prince and end his life far away from the castle and then dispose of the body. Of coarse she had been taught how to do all of these things before hand.

She had made sure she was prepared.  She had a sword on her back, two daggers at her side and tranquil darts on the inside of her boot. There was no way she would be failing. 'I have worked way to hard for this. I will no come  all this way just to fail.'

She had finally reached the spot where her instructor had told her the prince would come to. "He has a bad habit of sneaking out in the middle of the night to the edge of the forest in the small clearing by the stream." That's what her instructor had told her. She decided to hide up in a tree close to the stream so that she could see the clearing from all sides.

She sat on a large branch close to the bottom of the tree, hidden from view. She was only there for about 10 minutes before the prince walked into the clearing. He walked over to the stream and sat at the edge of it. 'Ok, now is my chance, he has his back turned to me. He won't see me coming.'

She jumped out of the tree, landing on the ground with out making a sound and quickly ran to his side pulling out one of her daggers to use the handle to knock him out. But somehow he knew that she was there and he whipped around fast as the flash. One of his hands went to her hand that had in the dagger and another going to her waist. The prince spun her around quickly, then stepping away with both of her daggers in his hands.

She quickly unsheathed he sword, prepared to fight, but the prince was too fast. Within seconds he was behind her with both daggers touching her neck. "Some assassin you are," he scoffs. "And some idiot you are. Who goes wandering around in the woods in the middle of the night by themselves?" She retorted. He laughed, "says the one with not one, but TWO daggers to her neck."

The prince took the daggers away from her neck and walked around so that he could look her in the face. She didn't flinch when he grabbed her chin tilting her face into the moon light. For a second he looked shocked. "For someone who is bad at murdering, you are deathly pretty," he said looking into her icy blue eyes. "The red tips are a nice touch as well," he gestured to her hair. She rolled her eyes at him. While he was talking she had slowly been moving her hand down towards the tranquilizing darts in her boot. She finally got a hold of one of the darts and stabbed forward aiming for the prince's leg. He stepped backwards and she summer salted forward and quickly stood up to recover.

The prince once again, grabbed her hand that her weapon was in. He snatched the dart out of her hand and threw it across the clearing. He pushed her back against a tree and pinned her hand above her head a started to kiss her. Her entire face turned red and he smiled through their kiss. She tried to wriggle free but that only made things worse. He then took is other hand and pinned her waist to the tree.

When he finally stopped kissing her she was gasping for air. "The reason I come out here in the middle of the night, is to come looking for trouble. Even though you are not very good at it, you are trouble enough for me," he breathed smirking at her.

She had failed her assignment. The real problem however, was that she wasn't even mad about it.
