How the hell did I get into this? Despite everything my Cousin Guy said, I just had to take a left turn- on purpose- while everyone else turned right.

Let me introduce myself before anything else. My name is Scarlet Fox, named because my hair is deep orange, and my eyes piercing green. I have just turned 13 years old, and that is why my mum, my dad, and a relative of my choice, Guy, are touring the ancient temples.

And I am currently stuck in a big room, with the only way out a floating island, and, wait, what's that? Oh god, i'd better run. It looks like a massive monkey demon is just about to chase me...
