I've been living in the cabin for 3 years. Nobody ever came to visit and I was glad. Everyday I would wake up and make breakfast. I had under the table jobs for money. I only bought what I needed and nothing else.

One day I heard the door open. Could this be the day? He finally came to the cabin after all these years. I was going to see him for the first time since the incident.

I walked out of the bedroom and there he was. He looked the same as he did then. I looked at his hand and saw what he was holding. I didn't realize what I had done until now. I restarted his addiction. This was all my fault.

He looked up surprised at what he saw. "Tobi? You've been here this whole time?" He said. "I forgive you for what you did." I continued to stare at the bottle in his hand starting to cry. "I-I did that." I said pointing to the bottle. "It's okay it really is. Please come home with me." He said moving for a hug. "I will. I'm just really sorry." I said hugging him.

We went back to the house I grew up in. My room is still the same as it was. I fell onto the bed sobbing. What I didn't hear was the men carrying my father out and coming over to me.
