Chapter 1

"Geeetttt" sanaya shouted.

I ran up the stairs to the temple. When I was done praying I handed out the sweets to the poor. I ran toward our village. Namaste My name is geet and yes geet meaning music. I live in a village with my mother and father. My dream is to marry a husband that is caring, responsible and fun.

"Geet wait up" sanaya shouts once again.

Sanaya is my close friend, though she can be annoying sometimes.

"What is it, and why are you shouting" I asked.

"Your ma is looking for you".

I speed walked home and sneaked inside my room. Just then my mother sita was standing right in front of me.

"Hi ma" I said surprisingly.

"Why are you sneaking in beti?" said my mother sarcastically.

"Ma when did I sneak in" I said.

My mother grabbed my ears and pulled me to the kitchen. "help me make some food for your father" my mother whispered.

"What? fathers here?" I whispered back.

"Where were you at first!" My father Akash shouted from behind us.

I turned around startled.

"You think I won't know when my own daughter goes missing!" he said.

"Papa i-ii wass..." I said scaredly.

"My childhood friend lives in Lucknow and he has a son" said my father.

"So?" I said.

"So we promised each other we will marry you two and hopefully he didn't forget his promise" said my father.

I was left in shock.

"My friends son is a rockstar now so it might be hard for you since we're not rich".

"I still haven't forgotten his promise so Iam deciding maan to get married with my childhood friend's daughter" stated Maans father abhi.

"Dad his a rockstar! Why should he marry a low family when we have my best friend tanu who loves Maan" said Maans sister Aliya.

"Aliya you just be quiet and listen to your dad " said Maans daadi shirla.

Aliya crossed her arms and tanu interrupted and said, "uncle, daadi I love maan please let me marry him instead.

"Tanu you stay out of our family" said daadi annoyed of tanu.

Maan makes a entry with his sun glasses. Reporters surrounds him and takes picture. Inside maans house maan's daadi and maan's father hears the reporters and comes outside and announces that maan is getting married. Reporters gets shocked and records everything. Maan also gets shocked. "What are you doing dad?" Maan asks.
"Yes beta your getting married and that is with my childhood friends daughter" he replied.

"We are also visiting them today so get ready to leave".

Maans family goes inside the house. While reporters leaves as quick as possible to publish the shocking news. The news spreaded quickly and all his fans were left in shock.

"Dad how can you do that without my permission" Maan complains.

"Shh I don't want to hear anything just go get ready" said the father and goes to his room.

"Beta your dad is doing this for your own sake and trust me I met geet when she was young and she is very well taught" Daadi says. Maan hugs his daadi and goes upstairs. Tanu and Aliya follows him.

"Are you going to let daadi and your father do this" Asked Tanu.

"You know I can't say no to daadi and obviously not to my own father, I mean did you see his face it looks like he was going to kill me" replied Maan.

"Where is this place anyway?" maan asks.

"Village!" Aliya answers.

"What? Maan the rockstar have to visit a village" Said Maan.

"I know right!" Aliya complains.
Maans daadi shouts, "Aliya, Maan get readyyy. Aliya leaves Maans room and goes to her room to change. Abhishek calls his childhood friend Akash and informs his family that they are going to come visit the village. Abhishek hangs up and drives his family to the village including Maan's girlfriend Tanu.

"Sitaa, I got call from abishek and his going to bring his family in the village for a visit" said my father excitedly.

"Then we should prepare delicious food" Sita said.
"Geet get ready and go to our village market".
I changed and went off to the market with sanaya.
"Wowww your Soo lucky to marry a rich rockstar" said sanaya jealously.

"Then why don't you marry him" I said.

"I want to but I can't" she said.

"Bhai ya I want this and that please" I said.
I returned home with tons of food and went outside playing with sanaya and some little villagers.

"Didi I am going to blindfold you okay and you have to try to catch us" said one of the villager.

"Are you sure because Iam really good at this game" I lied. I blindfolded myself and just then a big car arrived. The kids including sanaya went to look at the car and totally forgot about geet.

"Kids Iam coming to get you" i said. I walked toward and bounced into Maan.

"I got you" I stated and grabbed Maan thinking it was the kids. I took out my blindfold and saw Maan standing.
