the dark hues of blue and purple fill up the sky.. fluffy clouds and tiny freckles of stars shimmer throughout the peaceful view of karl's bedroom window. soft purrs gently coats the comfortable silence of the night.

everything is perfect.

almost perfect.

karl's pov:

i grab my keys from the counter and start heading out the door.

"bye bye grey!!"

jimmy told the crew to meet up today for a surprise. idk what he has planned but i better hurry up and be there on time.

i jump in the driver's seat and put on my playlist. a familiar tune surrounds me as i turn up the volume.

u live in my dream state
relocate my fantasy
i stay in reality

i lean back a bit while driving through the smooth road, admiring the rising sun. a slight scent of flowers seems to flow through the air as the song carries on..

a distant smell joins the mix, a smell i can't quite grasp on. almost like a perfume..? my lips turn up into a small smile. taking in the aroma around me, i feel euphoric. like every weight— in life, my body, mind, everything— is gone.

cupid hit me, cupid hit me with precision

"i wonder if u look both ways when u cross my mind"

the words come out naturally as if it as second nature.

"u're the one that's always running through my daydream, i- i can only see ur face when i close my eyes~"

turning my attention back to the view, my gaze is captured by the vibrant pink and orange sky behind the many trees and houses. the way the purple sky mixes and fades into the sun's pretty light and warm colors.. it looks like something out of a fairytale or painting. my heart patters at the wonderful sight, filling my hopeful heart with, well, hope.

"dang george really be missing out." i laugh to myself. i turn the car to the left to apparently my "final destination" according to the location jimmy sent, the signal light clicking and the song fading out.

huh.. it's a hotel.

i park the car in the nearest parking spot and disconnect my phone. i wonder what this surprise is jimmy.. unbuckling my seatbelt and opening my door, i head for the entrance.

"hold on- shh shh he's going to be here any second." i hear a person who i'm guessing is jimmy on the other side of the door. i roll my eyes and chuckle at the attempt at being quiet as i swing open the door.

"HI KARL! THE SURPRISE IS HERE!" everyone yells as soon as i walk in.

"h-hi karl.." a flushed figure in front of me says. they're wearing a pair of slightly muddy checkered sneakers with red shoelaces on one and purple shoelaces on the other. black shorts and a baggy black corpse hoodie that make them look like a million bucks. wait..

"s-sapnap..?"

i wrote this cuz i got bored and out of inspiration from my friend ace! he wrote two cool stories and i thought i could maybe try writing my own.

i hope my grammar and spelling r good kdsjdjjd.. i have literally no idea what to write and what the plot is going to be but i'll figure it out along the way. that's what i do for all my school essays and i always seem to get a's. sooooo i think i'm qualified to write a fanfic. yessirrr~ but it seems like i'm not qualified to write over 700 words-
