Felix took a deep breath in, holding it nervously as he took the mail out of his family's mailbox. He quickly shuffled through the letters and bills, air rushing out of his lungs as a shocked look came over his face.

He ran into his parents house. "It came!" He shouted with a grin, running into the living room like a child. "Wha' came?" His father raised an eyebrow, his deep gravelly voice sounding perpetually unimpressed.

"M-my responce from c-cleary-! Cleary University." Felix responded, his excitement lessening under the gaze of his father. "Oh, honey thats lovly! What does it say?" His mother spoke, coming in from the kitchen, a rag in her hands.

Felix quickly tore into the letter and opend it, scanning over the page nervously. His hand slammed over his mouth and he looked near tears. His father let out a grunt, and looked back to his news paper. "Oh, dear, denied?" His mother spoke in a disappointed tone.

"No- full scholarship!" He spoke, hand moving from his face, a huge grin plastering his face and tears rolling down his cheeks happily. His father slammed his paper into his lap, looking somwhat impressed. His mother squeeled in excitement.

Now, the only reason either of them cared he was getting into collage, was to get him out of the house. The less they had to pay, the better, but they were prepared to throw as much money as they could to the cause.

A few weeks later, Felix would wave goodbye to his parents, climb into a taxi with his suitcase and drive off to his new life. He stared out a window during the ride, watching trees go by and traffic not. His mind wondered to what this collage life may be like. If he would have a roommate, what he would be like, if he would make freinds, what they would be like.

The blonde had always been a nervous man. He was always awkward around people, finding it hard to make freinds. When you got to know him, he was charming, smart, charismatic, funny, confident, and kind. But, nobody ever really stook around long enough.

Felix sighed, shaking himself of his thoughts as they finally aproched the university. He payed the taxi driver, and left with his suitcase.

It took him an annoying and possibly embarrassingly long time to find his dorm, however he happend to be the first one there. School wasn't to start quite yet, but people did tend to come a few weeks early to get situated. Felix was somwhat relived not to have to interact with people yet however, and staked his claim to the bed on the left most side of the room.

Jack walten paced around his room nervously, stairing at the letter In his hand. This was it. This was his last chance at getting into collage. He had waited over a week after receiving this last letter before opening it, worried as to what he would do with himself should it say he was declined. He siged and opened the letter, eyes shut lightly. "Come on, cleary...!" He spoke out loud, attempting to hype himself up. He took a peek at the paper.

"Jack walten,
                      Congratulations!"

Jack screamed in excitement like a middle school girl getting asked out to her first dance. "Oh my god, I'm in!!" He grinned, his signature crooked smile and shiny silver braces on display.

He would have to get packed and over there quickly, he didn't want to miss his first week at university did he? He grinned at the thought. First week of university. He'd made it.

608 words. Next chapters should be longer, this is kinda filler, but 🤷‍♂️.
