3rd POV

*beep beep beep*

Jakes alarm went off, Jake groaned as he reached over to his alarm to turn the loud and annoying sound. Once he finally succeed to stop it. He rolled off the bed, falling on his right side. He had got up from the floor and rubbed his eyes, he made his way to the light switch to turn on the blinding light. He covered his eyes so his eyes wouldn't hurt all day from the sudden brightness. He turned on the lights and the blinding light filled the room. Jake hissed and shut his eyes tight. After he got used to the lighting he opened his eyes and removed his hands from his eyes. He turned around and headed over to the closest. He opened it and looked for some clean clothes he could wear for the day. He found some dark blue jeans, he took them and slide them on. He grabbed an used black shirt with he threw on and then his favorite flannel. Once Jake was done getting dressed for the horrible day waiting for him, he picked up his backpack that was laying around the room, he opened the door quickly, hoping to not wake up his sleeping father. He slowly went down the stairs trying to not make any loud noises. He succeed doing that, as he opened the front door, the floor squeaked under his feet. 'Damn it..' Jake thought to himself before speed walking outside, he closed the door and locked it. As he was grabbing his bike to bike his way to school his dad had woke up. You could hear his yelling from inside the house. "JAKE WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?!" Jake turned his head to to the door as he saw the door handle shook. He quickly jumped onto the bike and biked away.

The wind blew trough his fluffy, curly hair. He closed his eyes, leaving the world and going into his own. A place where there was no stress, a place where his mum was still alive, a place where his father loved him, a place where he wasn't bullied everyday, a place where Devon liked him back...

As he was thinking of all those amazing stuff, he bumped into something, or should I say someone? Jake lost balance and feel of the bike. He hit the ground, as he got up rubbing the back of his head he looked at who he bumped into. Another boy who was riding his bike to school, wearing an orange flannel with black jeans skinny... 'wait—' Jake realised who it was. The boy was sitting on the ground rubbing the back of his head. "Ouch.." The boy sighed.

"Shit! I'm so so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going! Are you okay?! Did you hurt yourself?!" Jake panicked. "Hey, it's okay. I'm fine, don't worry." The boy looked up at Jake smiling. Jakes heart fluttered, he leaned his hand to help him up and the boy gladly accepted his help, the boy pulled himself up. "U-uhm— again I'm so sorry." Jake said as he looked away trying to hide his blush. He couldn't believe he talked to Devon. "Don't worry, it happens." Devon smiled again placing a hand on Jakes shoulder. Jake felt himself heat up, not only that he talked with Devon, he got touched on the shoulder. Devons calming voice eased Jake. The two boys were staring into each others eyes. "Hey, aren't we in the same biology class?" Devon recognized Jake, "Ye-Yeah, we are! You're Devon, right?" Jake said, clearly already knowing who he is. "Bingo! You are..." Devon stopped to think. "Aren't you in front of me?" Devon asked, picking up his bike. Jake did the same, both boys got on the bikes. "Yeah, Jake.. Jake Wheeler." Jake said, the boys started biking together to school. "Nice to finally talk to you, Jake." Jake was about to explode. Hearing Devon say his name was a miracle. "Y-Yeah, same here!" Jake stuttered his words.

The two boys had made it to school, the both put their bikes in the empty spaces and walk inside the school. The boys parted away to their own lockers and grab the stuff they needed for the first lesson they have.
