Ughhh...
I feel... so sluggish...
I slowly opened my eyes to peer through the darkness. Everything's so blurry, making me close my eyes as darkness welcomes me in its embrace once again.
*~*~*
The second time I opened my eyes, I saw some outlines around me. I tried, really. But my eyelids felt so heavy that I had no choice but to close them.
*~*~*
However, the third time I opened my eyes (third time's a charm), I felt something. Something, other than heavy drowsiness.
Something that makes me feel uneasy.
Something that makes me hate it.
So even though my eyelids were demanding to close my eyes and go back to my deep slumber, I fought against it.
I stared at one place for a while to steady my perception. When blurry images became clear, I slowly craned my neck and scanned my surroundings.
I was surprised at what I saw.
I'm... Where am I?
Why am I here?
...
... Who am I?
I lightly shook my head.
No, no time for fear. I must move, and move fast.
The room was all white. Sanitary. There are some devices and machineries that were placed here and there inside this room. I looked down to where I lay. Wow, to think that all this time I've been lying on a capsule-shaped bed. And a very comfortable one too. The bedding, the sheets, and the pillow was all white. The supporter is silver. Clean and sanitary.
I'm wearing a white one piece negligee.
I tested my limbs if I can move and to my relief, it's not paralyzed.
I slowly got up in a sitting position, careful that I might strain my body, and placed my feet on the floor. I instantly regretted doing it.
It's cold.
No, not cold, that's refreshing, gentle, nor relaxing.
It's freezing and it bites on my skin.
It hurts.
