Chapter 1:First day

I was running late to my club.Study hall took my mind off the time.I was only halfway up the stairs when I remembered something,my poem;I left it at home!Well,I'll have to wing it today.I flew open the club room doors to see Natsuki had made cupcakes,one for everyone.

"Look who finally showed up!Where were you?!"she shouted at me,giving me a death stare.
"Sorry guys,I lost track of time!I had study hall last period and got mesmerised by my book!" I said,blushing.
"I'm not giving my cupcake to someone who is late!" Natsuki yelled,taking a massive bite of my cupcake.
"Natsuki,she was late because of a lesson,give her some slack!You have been late before,this is Monika's first time!Say sorry!" Sayori said loudly,stepping towards me.
"Sorry,"Natsuki muttered under her breath in a sarcastic tone.
We all sat down,except Yuri,who was giving everyone tea.

"Who wants to go first in reading their poem?"I exclaimed.I really wanted hear Sayori's writing,but she turned her head when I looked at her."How about you,Yuri?"
She read out her poem,unwillingly,then Natsuki did.It was Sayori's turn,but I don't think she wanted to share because she crumbled her paper.
"Where's your poem,Monika?"Natsuki asked.
"It-it-it's in my head.I don't have a paper."I responded.I didn't have a poem in my head,I'm an idiot!
"Let's hear it!" Sayori bubbly shouted.
"Ok...here it is," I said.I took a breath and started speaking.
