The day went by pretty fast. As a matter of fact, I didn't even see Para for the rest of the day, not even once. "Well that was a lovely offer she gave me." I think to yourself sarcastically "Oh if you need help finding other classes come find me" I mock her, thinking to myself what an idiot I am. I finally walk in to my bedroom and lay my bags down. "Honey I'm going out to town for a little bit. I'll just get takeout tonight or something ok? I love you!" Mom says. "Ok mom! Love you too!" I yell back. I then lay on my bed, put headphones on, and turn on my favorite playlist. A few minutes past, and I could see flashing lights out of the corner of my eye. I looked over to the window, and I see a flashlight. "That's strange... it's happening again." I pull they headphones off and lay them on the bed. I get up and walk over to the curtains, slightly moving them to the side where you can see better. I see what seems to be a guy and a girl at your neighbors house talking. They look over to me, making me shut the curtains. Then I jump back on my bed and put my headphones back on acting like nothing happened.

It's the next morning, to which I get up and get dressed, and my mom takes me to school. "Be good at school." She says. "Yeah alrighty." I respond. I walk into the building and find your first class again. "Damn. I still am struggling finding my classes." I began to think to myself. I finally make it inside and strunt over to my seat. I easily swift down into the seat, then I carefully sit my binders and books down on the desk in front of me. I look around the room, noticing there is more people than yesterday. New faces. Of course almost everyone is staring. I looked around the room to notice almost everyone was talking shit. The desk beside me was empty until a guy with medium length, black, hair walked in and sat in that seat. I looked away, as I didn't want him to notice I was looking.

His/n POV

I was running late. So late that my dad was yelling at me. He says mom died because of me. He blames me for everything. I'm starting to believe it. I ran into the school building and checked in the office. I then run down the hall towards my class, and go in. I look over towards my seat, and there's a girl in the seat beside it. She's very pretty, looks intelligent, smart. I walk over and sit down. "Sage, you're late?" Mrs. Marsh says. "Yes I'm sorry. My alarm went off late." I respond."Ok but don't let it happen again Mr. Collins." Mrs. Marsh says. "Yes ma'am." I replied. I couldn't help it but I kept looking over at the new girl beside me. I think she noticed because she quickly straightened her posture. That made me grin. It was getting closer to the end of class, so I was trying to work up the courage to talk to her. Finally, 3 minutes before the bell ring "Hey. You're new right?," I asked. She looked shocked. "Oh, um, yeah I am. Today's my second day actually." She replied. I looked at her, in curiosity. "Wow. Well good luck, we might have other classes together, so if you need me let me know." I smirked, getting up as the bell rang.
