Iris POV
So here I am in my room. Let me continue my introduction earlier before kuya alfredo teased me. I am named after my parents the two maria, sa akin nila ipinasa ang kanilang pagka maria. Fernanda of course from my grand father.
I am now 17 turning 18 next month the same birth month with tito bong, mommy and of course papa macoy.
I am also a miracle baby, my mom was 44 back then nung nagbubuntis siya sakin. She said na nahirapan daw siya nung nagbubuntis sakin especially nung labor kase sobrang healthy ko daw, umabot daw sa part na pinapili si Dad between sa amin because there is a possibility daw na baka may mawala either sa aming dalawa. Thankfully hindi naman nangyari yun, and the challenge was worth it, ganito ka ganda lang naman ang outcome.
No one knows that I am part of the marcoses for safety purposes.Only the family, in laws, and close friends knows lang. Since our family is in politics and was accused so many times, my family decided
that they want me to live a normal life. I have to hidden from the public.
"Iris..." I heard Mom knocked outside my room.
"Just open it ma!" Mom opened the door and went to my side.
"My Baby is dalaga na" she said while hugging me. Oh god, this is not normal. Nagiging clingy ulit si mom out of nowhere.
"Mom, anong kaartehan to?" I asked while laughing.
She slightly slapped my arm "Ito naman, I just can't believe na ang lalaki na nag mga anak ko,lalo ka na bunso" She then kissed my forehead and hugged me so tight.
"Naglalambingan nanaman ang magnanay, hindi man lang kami tinawag." We heard Dad from outside.
"Ang Gregorio nagtatampo, come here dad" Sabi ko kay Dad, before he could even come inside my room, naunahan na siya ng dalawa kong kuya at dinumog pa talaga ako at kiniliti.
"Kuya! S-stop!! Tama na!" I said between my laugh.
Mabuti nalang talaga at at sinunod nila agad. Both of my brother kissed my forehead. Dad is now beside me, he hugged me and kissed my forehead too...
"Hey, this is strange, anong nangyayari? Ba't nagiging clingy kayo?" I said while laughing a bit.
"Nothing Iris, but can you promise me you'll be strong like mom?" Dad said, it made me worry. May something ba na hindi ko alam?
"Of course Dad, I'll be strong like our fam" I kissed their cheeks hugged them all.
Luis POV
Earlier this morning Tito bong just called. It's about Iris. Our family decided to hide her for her safety, but we know that we can't always hide her.
"Irene, let's have dinner, malapit na magdebut ang unica hija mo. You can't always hide her." Tito Bong said on the phone.
" I know kuya, but how? Ayaw kong masaktan yung anak ko. " She worriedly asked.
"Kaya nga we'll talk, Dito nalang sa Malacañang magdi-dinner. Busy akong lumabas" He said.
After Tito Bong won the presidency, minsan nalang siya makakaattend ng mini reunion namin every sunday.
"Okay pupunta kami, bye kuya love you" Mom then put down the phone.
I went near Mom, I can see her nervousness even from afar. She's getting teary... Oh god.
"Your ready to introduce her in the public mom?" I asked her even if the answer is clear.
"Kailangan luis, baka makakasama din kung itatago natin siya ng habang buhay, which is impossible. Bahala na si batman. We'll talk about it naman later..." She said
Iris POV
After that hugging moment of the fam, Mom told us to ready ourselves na para sa dinner mamamaya sa Malacañang.
I am now wearing puff shoulder long-sleeved crop top and high wasted beige trouser. I just partnered it with white block heels and brown shoulder bag just enough to put my phone, wallet and some beauty products.
I went down sa sala after and sat on the sofa. I scrolled on my phone. As I expected,another accusation was thrown to our family.
"Just do not mind it bibe"
I got startled hearing kuya alfy behind me. Itong kuya talaga nato!
"Kuya! Ikaw talaga magiging reason ng cause of death ko!" I said and pouted while holding my chest.
He laughed at me. " Ito naman cause of death agad?, Just don't open social media muna bunso" He was about to put hus hand on my hair but I stopped him
"Op! Wag mong guluhin yung buhok ko kuya. Sira na ang araw ko wag mo ng idagdag ang buhok ko."
He laughed
Irene POV
I'm not gonna lie, I'm kind of nervous for this day. But i trust my kuya for this. Like what he said we cannot always hide her. My mind was too occupied that i didn't realize Greggy is now back hugging me.
"Mind telling me what's on your mind?" He asked. Oh god I can feel his breath on my ear, ticklish.
"Do you think its a right decision?" I asked while turning, facing him.
I know that he knows what I mean, both of us talked about it last night.
"Yes darling, the important thing is we're always gonna be with Iris if something goes wrong." He assured me while touching my cheeks and gave me a kiss, it didn't last that long, baka ano pang magawa namin kung tumagal tong harutan na'to.
"Tara na, baka nandun na ang mga bata sa baba" I saw him pout kaya natawa ako.
"Kuhang kuha ni Iris yang pagpout mo, nagmumukha kayong bibe" I laughed when i saw him glared at me.
Nung pababa na kami, i saw them nagkukulitan. Ang sarap nilang tingnan, parang noon lang ang mga kuya niya yung nagbabantay kay Iris kung may gagawin akong importante. Ang bilis lumaki ng mga bata.
"Mom! Dad! Akala ko kung ano nang ginagawa niyo
sa tagal niyo sa kwarto" Iris teased but I glared at her para itago yung kilig.
I heard Greggy beside me laugh at pinalupot ang kamay niya sa bewang ko.
"Hay nako Iris, inggit kalang kase. Ikaw lang single sa bahay na'to" Alfy teased Iris.
"Kuya pumipili pa kase ako sa mga suitors ko, baka ikaw yung magiging OA pag may pinakilala na ko" Iris teases back.
"Aba! ma oh!" Ayan na sumbungan na...
"Tama na yan, ready na ba lahat punta na tayo sa palasyo" Awat ko.
