"Ready?" the teacher asked as he slipped his phone into his pocket.
"Can't we get a few more minutes to plan?" Izuku called back jokingly.
"No," the man growled, leaping forwards as the starting buzzer sounded.
Jiro flinched as the sound wave washed over them, thankful as always for the noise cancelling earpieces. She glanced over at Koda, the pair hiding in the bushes on the edge of the clearing, near identical earpieces poking out comically from the holes he had instead of ears. She pressed a finger to the collar wrapped firmly around her throat, speaking.
"Okay," her voice was transmitted through the earpieces, "We've made it this far, we just need to get past him."
"How do we do that?" Koda's voice came through surprisingly loud, at least louder than the earphone jack quirk user had ever heard it, "He's chased off all the animals, there aren't even b-bugs."
"Yeah, that's a problem," Jiro hummed, pulling her hand away from her neck just in time as another wave of sound cascaded over them, "But he's pretty much just blasting his voice in one direction…Then…maybe we can get around him?"
"But how?" Koda asked, peeking out at the teacher, who was shifting slightly uncomfortably.
"With this," Jiro grinned, pulling a small cylindrical object from her pack, pulling the pin and lobbing it at the Pro, "Close your eyes!"
Mic turned as Jiro stood, looking her directly in the eyes as she threw the object through the air, instinct kicking in as he unleashed a blast of sound directly at it, halting it's arc through the air. The flash bang hovered for a moment, before it went off, filling the small clearing with bright light and loud blast, Mic staggering back as his stylish glasses did little to protect his eyes. He blinked, looking around frantically as the world blurred and spots danced across his vision, snatching at the blur that was running towards him.
"Got yah!" he shouted as his hands closed on the cool material of Jiro's leather jacket, blinking again as it fell limp in his hands, "What the?"
"Double diversion!" the shout came from behind him, making him spin, his eyes clearing enough to make out the two students bolting through the gate, the electronic voice announcing their victory.
"Dammit," Mic said in English, stumbling forwards slightly as he rubbed his eyes, a wide grin on his face, "They got me."
The capture weapon snapped around Izuku's waist, yanking him backwards as Aizawa slammed into the ground he'd been standing on a moment later.
"Thanks, Hi-chan!" the teen called as he regained his balance, darting forwards himself to meet the teacher head on, "You know the plan!"
"There was a plan?" the teen shouted back, throwing out his capture weapon again, this time aimed at the Pro.
Aizawa didn't even hesitate as he blocked the punch from Izuku, his hand snapping out as he flung his own capture weapon, the ribbon of fabric knocking Shinso's out of the air, before whipping around to coil around Izuku. The green-haired teen ducked just in time to avoid capture, rolling backwards across the floor.
"He really is slower!" Izuku shouted as he darted back to Shinso's side, "We can totally take him!"
"Are you sure?" Shinso muttered, "And what was that about a plan?"
"Trust me, we got this!" Izuku chuckled, "Just keep trying to get him to respond to you!"
Iida gritted his teeth as Ojiro launched them into the air, the hole opening in the ground just in front of them.
