Chapter 1

You control your destiny - you don't need magic to do it. And there are no magical short cuts to solving your problems.

Some say our destiny is tied to the land as much a part as we are of it. Others say fate is woven like a cloth. Our fate lies within us, you only have to be brave enough to see it.

"Tara! Tara! Oh my, why the heck aren't you coming downstairs! Tara!" "Mom you know, I think you will be needing a loud speaker to call my name! I am not deaf or anything! I am COMING!"

" Tara, you need to behave! You are 15!" " I know that I am 15! AND I don't need to behave."

" Whatever! Now I just want you to wash the dishes because I am going to take your little brother Mason on a walk."

" Oh sorry mom but you never understand me I am not doing the dishes because I am also invited to a party!"

" Oh God! I wish I had another daughter who would be obedient to me or....." " ...Wait a sec mom you are not going to impose your thoughts, laws and orders on me!

I am grown-up teenager & I have my own choices and rights! So bye because I have to get ready! Do your things by your own!"

" Fine! I'll do it myself!" " You better!" Tara stalks swiftly up the strairs to her room and calls her friend Lucy.

"Hey Lucy!"
" Hi! Are you alright? You look pretty angry!" " It's nothing just my mom....I think I did wrong that I was born in this world!"

" Oh God! You look very sad, but it's not worth it! Why does your mom treats you like that! You have a right to live your life."

" I know, she's CRUELA D' VILL" " Haha..don't worry everything will be alright! Are you coming today at my house for the sleep over?" "Yeah! That is the slumber party, right?" "Yup! That's right!" "Okay, I am coming in no time!"

Tara called some of her more friends to Lucy's house and they had the best slumber ever! They watched movies, ate popcorns, slushes, which were Tara's favourite and made her forget about what had happened between her & he mom.

One thing more, she maybe a good friend but was not a good daughter or a sister. She was always very popular and everyone liked her, she gets good grades in all subjects at school and was very exuberant and determined.

She was pretty inquisitive. Tara had very beautiful and deep blue eyes, and hair as yellow as gold and she was as white as snow making her very much beautiful and admiring! She had a very nasty brother and she hated him.

Her life was a roller-coaster and sometimes she just thought that she was perfect! But she had literally no manners at all!

After the slumber party & that sleep over with her best friends she returned home and to her horror the whole house was disordered! Some things were laying here and some there! Nothing was at it's place...it was a debacle!

She searched the whole house to find her mom and then found her mom sleeping under the bed in her bedroom!

She called as loudly as she could, " Holy shit mother! Why the hell are you laying under the bed instead of laying on it!" Her mom didn't wake.

She ducked and moved closer to her mom and growled in her ear, " Wake up MOM!!!" "Mmmmmmm....let me s-l-l-e-e-p-p!" "Stop joking and wake up!"

Her mom crawled on the floor and then stood straight and started yawning and then went towards the bathroom, she came out exactly after 15 minutes and then she said to Tara, "Honey how was the slumber?"

Tara felt kinda awkward because her mother was being so sweet to her and the she hesitated but quickly covered it and said, "Aaaa...Awesome!" "Good, now would you just help me clean the house?"
"Well.................ok....." That's like mommy's princess."

" Mom, stop treating me like a baby?" "Sorry dear but I am just so much obsessed with it." " You are obsessed with it?" "Yeah..!"

Tara just nods her head and said in a creepy way, "Only God can help us!" And sighed. Tara's mom Lisa said, "Come on, lets move some hands, get up!"
