[ Sundrop x Reader ] FNaF Security Breach

Chapter 1 | The News

Y/n POV:

I was doing my job as always, checking on some kids and mopping floors if needed. Today was being more relaxed than usual, no one threw up yet so... I don't mind it. Until...

"Hey Y/n, I need to speak to you about something important. See ya at the locker room"

My radio spoke with Molly's voice comming from it. She was one of my co-workers, well- more like my manager but meh... I obeyed and walked towards the locker room, and as I arrived I saw Molly leaning on one of the walls.

"There you are! Guess what? You've got promoted!!" she said in excitement.

"Wait- really!?"

"Yeah," she giggled "you were moved to the Daycare"

"The Daycare...?" I asked concerned, I've never been to that area before so it was strange for me to be put there.

"I know it may sound bad, but it really isn't. You get to play all day, do handicrafts, AND.. you'll have your own partner"

"Huh, I thought there was always only one person working at the Daycare" I said

"Oh there is only one person" Molly answered which made me confused "Let's just say your partner is not... Human"

"Oh, right.. Should've imagined it" I said chuckling awkwardly "So when do I start?"

"Well you were supposed to start tomorrow but you can go right now if you want to, I already put your new access key in your locker so, go whenever you want!"

I replied her with a small nod as she left the lockers, then I started thinking and I realised there are quite some things I don't know about my new area, guess I'll have to ask my new partner about all that stuff. I grabbed my locker's key and unlocked it to take out my things, I also had a new uniform. It only had slight differences from the usual clothes. The new one had a white button up shirt (Long sleeves), a (f/c) bow tie and black pants, shoes and hat.

Hey, it isn't a big deal, I went form white and blue to black and white. Once I was done changing I grabbed my flashlight, my access cards and started walking towards the Daycare. As I arrived I saw a statue of two animatronics, one seemed to be more exited than the other.

I realised we had to literally slide our way into the children area. If I was a parent and saw some random adult go into the kid's zone I would be like 'What the actual fuck?' but I'm not so.. Here I go!

Oof...

I landed on the ball pit and got up dusting myself off a little bit, once I got out I took a look at the whole place. There were toys everywhere, a big playing area, tables filled with art supplies and many MANY kids running and laughing.

"So this is the Daycare huh? Hm.. It's not that ba-"

"HELLO!!"

"AHH!!" I screamed and turned around quickly, punching an animatronic that was behind me. This made them take a couple steps back.

"Oh jeez, I'm so sorry..!" I reached out for them and tried to help them.

"It's fine, don't worry. Oh! You must be Y/n, Molly told me everything about you!" he said in a loud tone.

"She did?..."

"Well.. No... But she did told me your name!" I laughed a little at his answer which seemed to make his grin widen "I'm Sundrop by the way" he reached his hand out for me to shake.

"Nice to meet you Sundrop" I said shaking his hand "So... What's the deal around here? Any special activites or...?" I asked him.

"Oh not at all!! I can play with the kids ALL DAY LONG if I want to! And you get to choose the 'special activites' whever you want!" He explained.

"Oh.. Great! I guess I'll do my paperwork and then I'll come back to play with you and the others" I told him to which he nodded in excitement and ran back to playing with the children. After 30 minutes or so I was finally done with my paperwork. I got up and walked towards Sundrop who was talking to a group of kids.

"Hey guys. What are you playing?"

"We were just playing tagged, wanna join?" a small boy asked me.

"Sure!"

"Ok... Tagged!!" he touched me and all the others started running. This will be fun.

[ Time skip ]

My shift had already ended and I was very tired, running the whole day is a good exercise tho', I won't have to pay for a GYM. I was picking up the toys with Sundrop's help and we were having a small conversation.

"So how was your first day Y/n?"

"Honestly amazing! I had no idea small children had so many energy, it must be tiring for you" I said looking at him with some crayons in my hand.

"But it isn't! I enjoy spending time with them and I was designed so that my battery can last a whole day!! I'm everything but tired!" His tone of voice proved he wasn't lying, he was just as energetic as he was in the morning when I arrived.

"Ha! I wish I had that much power" I said walking towards the exit of the Daycare "I just have to turn this off and I can finally go rest..."

"NO!" He interrupted me by grabbing my wrist tightly. It scared me at first because of how fast he had reacted but I soon relaxed.

"Are you... Afraid of the dark?" I asked.

"W-Well not really.... I just don't like them off..." He let my wrist go and scratched the back of his head in embarrassment.

I stayed silent for a few seconds thinking of something to say "...Wanna know a secret?" I said and he looked at me "The darkness creeps me out too" I whispered closing the door behind me as I waved goodbye to Sundrop.

He's a nice guy.
