2 weeks had passed since the woman had arrived at the motel, the day of which the receptionist, known as Norman, had acted like a muted lunatic around her. He told the woman that he's nerve-rackingly terrified of his mother, who he described as "jealous, condescending and cruel", and the woman believed him, but something felt of about him. It was almost like he had something to hide. A few days after that, she had also met his mother, which ALMOST convinced her that he was right and that he was trustworthy. (Take note of this reader, this will be on test.) Such a loud and obnoxious woman she was, yelling "You're not good enough for my son, he's an idiot for seeing anything in you" though thanks to her screechiness is sounded like "yOu'Re nOt gOoD eNoUgH fOr mY sOn, hE's aN iDiOt fOR sEeiNg aNyThInG iN yOu". It ALMOST made her feel sorry for Norman (Again, note that I said almost. This will also be on the test.) Back to the start of this paragraph, about 2 weeks ago, she was taking a small walk through the motel, when she heard screaming sounds in Norman's mother's bedroom. Even though she didn't like her, she decided to see if she was okay. So, she looked in the room... and couldn't contain herself. Inside the room, was Norman's mother, hanging from the ceiling! So naturally, the woman did the only thing she could do... and that was to scream. And to spare your ears of what the screaming sounded like, you know the loudest sound in the world, yeah, multiply that by infinity! And even though no human could hear that, they could hear their dogs barking in response to the noise... from Japan. And to picture how loud that sound was, you know the highest decibel required to do damage, that being 120 decibels, also multiply that by infinity. And to be completely honest, I wouldn't have been surprised if God told Noah to get the boat, because you could hear that from Heaven, and somehow, it even travelled through space! And friendly reminder, this was because the woman found a dead body, think what would have happened if she saw her parents getting intimate with each other. Now, where was I? Oh yeah! After that explosive noise, Norman walked in and saw what happened to his mother, and to say what happened before happened again but on a larger scale, would be an understatement. Another universe would have wet themselves in fear of Norman's screaming. (Don't worry, this is the end of the screaming... as far as you should know, at least.) After Norman called the police, he told the woman (At this point, calling the woman "the woman" is getting repetitive, so from this point, whether you like it or not, I'm going to refer to her as Lana.) While Lana was in her room, she realised something about Norman. She noticed that his hands had grip stains that vaguely resembled rope burns. She also noticed that Norman was wearing the exact shame shoes his mother was wearing the day she met her. It's almost like this is an important plot point. And I would love to tell you that she informed the police anonymously (since she's still on the run just in case you forgot.) I would LOVE to. Unfortunately, Lana decided to just sweep this under the rug until she could find out more about this. Unfortunately, again, this led to some dire consequences. And this has a trigger warning here (Ha! Get it? But for seriously though, listen.); What you are about to read might get so nightmarishly scary, you might want to hide your kids, hide your wives, and hide your husbands because it's just that scary. If you decided to keep reading, don't say I didn't warn you!
