This series was written by two awesome authors; Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. I started the series last March up to the 1st of April. When I read Beautiful Creatures to be honest I was having a hard time reading it because of it's movie. I'm not that impressed by its movie, I was having a trouble of understanding it because of its missing parts. (which I knew because of course it is a freaking movie.) So I was really intrigued and I searched about the series. When I read that it has a four books I got really excited about it and bought the three books. Excluding the second book (Beautiful Darkness) because the bookstores went out of stock. So the series was stuck in my TBR pile for months until I bought the book last February and read it last March. In the middle of the first book I got really really bored because I already saw the movie, but I keep pushing through cause I want to know about the missing parts and I was like "OMG. Why they did not include this?" "What the hell?" "Now I understand." etc. but still It wasn't enough. I was begging for more exciting adventures and so I gave up the book for like one hour and picked up another series. BUT I was having a hard time understanding it because my mind was stuck with Ethan and Lena's romance and adventure and my mind was full of what if's. For Example: "What if the book gets better in other chapters?" "What if you'll regret not reading the series?" "What if Ethan died?" etc. and so I picked up Beautiful Creautures so fast and read where I had stopped and told myself "I must finish what I started." The first book turns out to be thrilling through the pages and the things that I begged were granted. I was left ranting to my mom about how awful the movie was because they did changed the ending , THEY DID CHANGED IT! (sorry no offense. *hides*) The ending will give you a nervous breakdown for the characters especially for Ethan Wate,Lena Duchannes,Amma, and of course Uncle Macon. You will also have some second thoughts for Ridley Duchannes and Ethan was met by the song called "Seventeenth Moons"
In the second book which is the Beautiful Darkness the series gets better in here and more thrilling ! I was really pissed with this guy named John Breed and of course with Lena. Ethan also met a girl named Olivia Durand which turns out to be one of his closest friends and his companion with his adventures in this book together with Link. Ridley Duchannes yes, I was really impressed and glad by her sudden changes and with that I was actually obssesed with her character (I made a fanartof her though and planning to cosplay her.) Look how cool she is in everything. I was also met by Uncle Macon's surprise which made the book so amazing. (heeh just read the book guys and you'll see!) The end of course will leave you hanging for the sudden changes and you'll be thrilled again by the song of the "Eighteenth Moon."
The third book Beautiful Chaos for me was kinda full of suspense and of course the thrill was always there. Every book of the series is getting much much better. You'll always find questioning yourself everytime you read it. In this book a lot of changes happend in the lives of Uncle Macon,Olivia,John as in John Breed,Link and of course as always Ridley. Amma is getting darker what I mean is more darker than she'd gone years ago according to Ethan and Indeed she was. Ethan always heard the song of Eighteenth moon and his town Gatlin was changing because of the events that happend on Lena's seventeenth moon. The ending was tragic and it will leave you screaming and shedding of tears until you read the fourth book which is the Beautiful Redemption.
Beautiful Redemption a fair warning to ya'll you must really really prepare yourself before you read this book and must control spoiling yourself because of excitement. It turns out Ethan was given a chance. Lena was not giving up same as with Ethan's friends and of course Amma. They all work hard in helping Ethan to grab the chance. Ethan really have some awful experiences and a lot of truths was revealed that will shock you and made you angry with of course the villains. The villains did not stop Ethan and Lena and their friends to meet their triumph. With their triumph there has to be also a consequence. The last book gave me lots of emotions that cannot be explained and I am so proud after I finished the book. I made the right choice and I've learned lots of lessons.
The series was not predictable and it contained lots of twists and it feels like I was having a ride on a roller coaster. I was very thankful that I made the right choice. Thank you so much for the authors who made the series. It was very unique and I cannot wait for Dangerous Deception to come out so that I can read Dangerous Creatures already and I know I'm gonna super love it cause hello? It's Ridley Duchannes and Linkubus everyone! *shrieks* So guys what are waiting for? GO RUSH INTO YOU FAVORITE BOOKSTORES AND GRAB THE SERIES RIGHT NOW! YOU'LL NEVER REGRET IT!
P.S. I tried so hard not to fill this review with spoilers. So if you think I've spoiled you I am so sorry. :)
