Darkest Night

I went out for a little walk around the neighbourhood. It was cold outside and the clouds were dark.
But even if it was late at night I really just needed a walk from stress and life it self.
To just think of my own thoughts and meanings to dream about my future and to look back at my past.

Wondering why I'm not scared of robbers, drunk people at the streets? Well our neighbourhood is quite little almost everyone here know each other, and it's rare bad things happen here.

We are all friends and the last time something bad happened was when mom was 5. Yep, a long long time ago.

After going around the neighbourhood, and giving myself the peace that I needed to calm down I decided to walk back home to my family.

I can finally see my little red house. It's really quite and I can't see any light. Weird. They probably just went to sleep because of a hard day.
All I can think of now is to take a bath and sleep in my cozy bed.

But as I reach the door I can hear someone scream. MOM? What is happening? //BANG!// Did I just hear a gunshot?!
I tried to find my key as fast as I could, as soon as I found it I tried to control my hand so it would stop shivering and just put the key in the keyhole.

I opened the door and ran inside, I checked every room carefully, finding any sort of sign that would refer as a mystery. I only had 2 rooms to check left but as I was about to enter my parents room I heard another gunshot.
The sound was from the basement downstairs.

I ran as fast as I could down to the basement, my tears started to fall down hoping my parents and my little brother was ok. As I ran down the stairs I heard another gunshot. My legs started to shiver but they still gave me enough power to run down and kick myself into the locked basement.

It was dark and I couldn't see a single thing, but I felt something. Something wet.

That's when I heard the last gunshot and blacked out.
