Chapter 4

Taylor's POV
I wake up from the smell of bacon and eggs. I put my slippers on and go to the bathroom and put my glasses on. Big fat ugly round glasses.
I walk downstairs and mom getting ready to leave and dad making breakfast.
I ask we're are you going? She just says therapy for her leg. I nod and sit at the counter. After me Meredith comes down. She sits right besides me and asks why are you here. I say I live here. Oh I thought whoever has to be in the talent show has to be 30 minutes early and you have to be there in 5 minutes to be on time. She says. Oh Shoot I run upstairs put old pair of dark blue jeans on and a plaid red and blue top with my brown flats and my purse with all my books,agenda and dress for the show. Say I'm ready to my dad and we all get in the car. Meredith got dressed too so dad wouldn't have to drive back and fourth. I was looking back at her. She just looking out the window because she gets car sick and looking out the window makes her feel better. I like her outfit she's wearing a really cute beige sweater with tights and her Uggs.

And she goes back out looking to the window. Soon enough we get to school say goodbye to dad and and head in to the office. Meredith is following me because her classes haven't started yet so we sign in at the office and head to the gym where everybody who is in the talent show is. We're only five minutes late. That's ok at least.

Then we figure out what number we are performing in. I'm performing number 13 which is ironic because that's my favourite number.
Once our meeting ended it was a normal school day then after lunch it was the talent show. Before I quickly got into my dress and make sure my mic earphone. When it was my turn I sang a song that I wrote called Tim McGraw. Once the song was done I took a bow and walked of the stage. There was about 5 more people after me. When the show was completely done I met up with my mom,dad and Mere. Then this guy came up to me and said he is the manager if Bug Machine Records. And he would like me to move to Nashville Tennessee to peruse a country music career. My parents said they had to think about it.
***One Month Later***
Meredith and I are packing we had a garage sale about a week ago and now we are packing boxes. Yup, we are moving to Nashville and I'm signed with a record label. It is unreal. Meredith is happy too kids at her school haven't been that nice too her just like me when I was that age so she's happy that she can make new friends and have a new start.
