Asras pov ~

'so what if I cut bangs' my mind wonders off.

"shit" I mutter to myself.

I look at the clock 11:23. It's not that late, but I do need to finish these papers. My pen scribbles across the paper as I read each question and I answer.

"Finally." I whisper cheer, setting the paper into my binder.

I take out my earbuds and unplug them from my phone. I blow out the vanilla candle and turn off my lights after plugging my phone in.

I grab Rasha my cat and set her in bed before climbing in myself. I wrap the blanket around my body closing my eyes.

***

I tossed and turned and still can't get to sleep. I check the clock, 1:57. I've been laying here for three hours?

I grab my phone and text Juniper.

asra the faz bear : hi

junii : it's 1:57

asra the faz bear : okay

junii : we have school asra.

asra the faz bear : so ?

junii : go to sleep!

asra the faz bear : but youre awake ?

junii : I was until I got your text!

asra the faz bear : fine, goodnight

junii : goodnight .

****

She's probably tired.

It's fine I'll just go to sleep then.

My mind wonders off, what if Junipers mad? Oh my goodness I'm going to see them at school tomorrow, what if she doesn't talk to me.

I get up and walk to the kitchen to make myself tea, it'll help me rest. I look at the clock above our oven as I walk downstairs, 2:34. Ugh I could really use at least a couple hours of sleep.

I grab a cup from the cabinet and quickly boil some water. I look at my phone and scroll through tiktok.

After the water's ready I pour it into my mug. I put the tea packet in.

I walk back upstairs and after 30 minutes or so I get too tired to stay up any later and turn my phone off.
