PRECIOUS LIKE A DIAMOND

DO YOU HAVE A COIN?

I am resting my back in some bench in this beautiful park. I'm always here watching all the family smiling with each other. This environment is far from my environment smiling face is so rare to see in my job I always see a tears,their eyes full of sadness. Even me I can't even smile as genuine as that since the day my father disappeared. I did everything to find him but I really can't I hope he's fine.

I see a beautiful girl in a pink dress holding a basket heading in my direction. I always see her in this park asking the same question in every person.

"do you have a coin?" she asked me. I always want to know why but when you ask her she will just answer you with another question.

"yes, I have since you are a beautiful girl I will give you many many coins" I said and give her 30 pesos coins because if you give her a paper bill she will just give it back.

"thank you Doctor Santos your so kind, God bless you!" she remember me now huh?, this little girl is so adorable.

"your welcome beautiful princess"
she just giggle of what I said.

Nang umalis sya tumayo na ko at sinundan sya cause I really am curious. This is the first time na susundan ko ung bata anyway nakaleave ako ngayon kaya I have so many free hours. While following her napaisip ako of how lucky her parents is when the time comes na na magkakaanak ako I want my daughter or son to be like her. Very kind little girl so adorable, so precious like a diamond.

She stop at the bakery, I thought she will just buy her food but I just find her giving all the food she buy to the homeless old man sitting near the bakery. The little girl look a me and smile sweetly. I'm shocked of course I didn't know that she actually know I am behind her.

The girl run I didn't see where she go but when I look at the old man she help I just found myself hugging the old man because he's my father,My missing father who have a mental disorder. He became like this when my mother died in a car accident. It was my father's birthday. That was one of the painful day of my life but of course it was the MOST painful day for my father. I'm just a kid back then I don't know how to comfort him because I'm so broke as he is. I'm lucky because we have relatives who can take care of everything because I'm sure father can't.

Habang naka burol si mommy unti-unting nawala sa sarili si Daddy until that day came when we send him to the nursing house he disappeared. We don't know where he is, We do everything just to find him but we can't find him so I just do everything to become a successful doctor. Hindi ako nawalan ng pagasa I know someday makakasama ko ulit sya.

The other day I came again in the park to see the little girl so I can thank her for bringing my dad to me.
While waiting for the kid I ready my coins because I know it's not just my father she's helping. That kid is so kind just think of it she's just a kid but she manage to do such thing. Her parents should be proud of her for being a brave girl. I thought those kids like her is just busy playing their barbie doll but her she's different.

After 3 hours

Where is that girl? I'm waiting here for 3 hours, is she not coming?. Since I'm getting bored of waiting for her Ill just find her in the whole park.

after half hour

Nalibot ko na ung buong park but I still can't find her so I just go to the bakery kung saan sya bumili ng pagkain noon.

"Uhm excuse me"

"yes sir?" the lady inside the store answer me.

"do you know where is the little girl in a pink dress? She's always buying here."

"little girl in a pink dress?? my only
customer that always wearing a pink dress is Danica, she always buy a hot pandesal here " so her name is Danica,what a beautiful name.

"the girl with a basket of many coins?"

"yes " wow so she really know her.

"so can you tell me where is she?"

"you don't know? Danica died in car accident 1 week ago kahapon ng 9;00 am sya inilibing" para kong binuhusan ng malamig na tubig sa sinabi nya. Exact 9 am in the morning nung nakita ko sya, 9;05 am ko nakita ung tatay ko so that means nung mga oras nayun that's the her last day in this world. But I'm sure that I really see her.

"so Ahm can you just tell me who's her parents Ahm saan sya nakatira?"

"wala ng magulang si Danica ulila na sya and sa bahay ampunan nalang sya nakatira, napakabait na bata nga nun eh. Kung san man sya naroon ngayun siguradong masaya na sya kasi kasama na nya ung magulang nya ang tagal din nyang nagiisa kahit pa sabihin nating nandyan sila sister para sa kanya masakit parin yung mawalan ng magulang. Ang tagal din nyang nagtiis pa tulong tulong lang sya, nagpapasaya sya ng iba pero ung sarili nya hindi nya mapasaya. Kaya ngayun masaya ko para sa kanya nawala man sya dito sa mundong ibabaw at least masaya na sya sa piling ng pamilya nya...sorry ang daldal ko pala." salahat ng narinig ko sumikip ung dibdib ko so that means sa huling sandali nya dito sa mundo nagawa pa nya kong tulungan.

"It's fine do you know Kung saan sya inilibing?"

"yes inilibing sya sa tabi ng mga magulang nya yun ung huling kahilingan nya"

"kung maari pwede mo ba kong samahan kung saan sya nakalibing??"

"oo naman sandali lang" Your making me so proud of you kid kung nasan ka man ngayon sana nga masaya ka na. The last thing I want to do is to visit your grave so I can thank you personally.

Just like what I want I really visit her grave nagpasama lang ako papunta dito because I don't know where is she,so now she's in front of me with her parents.

"Uhm Danica, You still remember me? the guy you help before your spirit  disappeared in this world. I hope you still remember me so speaking of helping thank you for helping me find my father. Thank you because you chose to help me I'm really really thankful and I am happy because lord give me a chance to know this brave beautiful little girl. Where ever you are I hope you are happy now withe your parents. I hope lord still give me a chance to know you in another life. Ma'am, Sir, your so lucky to have a daughter like her, so I won't bother your bonding with your parents now Danica, anyway say hi to my mother for me bye thank you so much." I still can't believe that she chose to help me.

While walking away I see her again waving to me saying goodbye and your welcome smiling from ear to ear so I wave back. Knowing you is one of the greatest thing that happend to me life. Danica Glizel Dayson is the only name I will never forget and the only name I will remember in my second life again goodbye and see you in my another life....
