Tw for Suicide (I'm going to stop doing this one because it should be obvious by now), panic attack, self harm, and violence.

Please give me any recommendations on how to better write panic attack/self harm scenes. I have had multiple panic attacks in the past and have self harmed before, but I haven't had a panic attack in a while, and haven't been through any trauma so yeah. I finished this so quickly I'm proud of myself! Anyways enjoy:

Sakura jolted awake at 7 am sharp. Monokuma had been forcing her to do that for the past 2 years, and old habits sure do stick. She yawned ferociously, and shoved Hina's duvet off of her, before folding it at the foot of her girlfriend's bed. She knew that Hina wouldn't care either way, being the slop that she was, but that only motivated Sakura to do it.

She prepared her usual uniform. She'd had this uniform for a while. When monokuma first forced her to wear it, it was 4x her size, and she'd just started building muscle. Monokuma clearly foresaw that she would grow in size, but he didn't expect her arms to rip so much that the sleeves were destroyed. It was a shame, such a waste of fabric.

She buckled her shoes, went to her door, and was immediately tackled into a hug. Sakura rapidly pushed them off, fighter instincts pinning them to the ground by their shoulders. As she did this, a tall stick of dirty blonde hair assaulted her face.

-

"What the fuck, Sakura." Mondo struggled behind her arms. "Is that any way to treat a classmate?"

She let go, and Mondo stood up, offering her a hand. She took it, and Mondo slowly lifted her up, grunting under his breath. Sakura muttered a quick "thanks", and turned to look at the guy. He was wearing a giant grandpa sweater, with colourful contrasting sewn on patterns over a plaid skirt that was barely visible.

Mondo saw her staring and yelled: "Skirts are really masculine, you know! True men wear them!"

"Sure." Sakura answered.

"Huh?" Mondo got up in her face. "Is that sarcasm?"

"U-um it wasn't meant to be-"

"No sweat Sakura!" Mondo laughed, slapping her bicep. "You know, for such a tough gal you're real shy."

"Uh..." Sakura responded. Should she have said something else? Was he put off by her attacking him? Damn fighter instincts. Her hand started to shake, and she stuffed it behind her skirt.

"Anyways I came to tell you your girl made breakfast."

Sakura took a step back, now both hands behind her skirt. "She told you?"

"Yeah, congrats on seizing such a good catch." Mondo told her with a wink. "Just so you know, you don't need to wear that uniform anymore. Monokuma can't regulate us when we're dead! That's why I'm wearing this!" He twirled, and the tips of his skirt raised slightly in motion with the spin. "Taka would sure go bonkers if he saw me." Mondo fidgeted with this sweater. "I need to go, bye!" He said quickly, and left the room.

Sakura let out a breath and slumped against Hina's bathroom door. Her heart was racing like Hina around the school, an uncontained red blur. Her shoulders shook as her breathing went off course. No, no, no, no, no. Sakura slapped herself with a shaky hand, 1, 2,3 who knows how many times. She had to stop being so childish so selfish, people were waiting for her and all she could do was shake and wail like a toddler.

Images flashed in and out of her mind. Sayaka's fair body splattered in blood, Leon's terrified eyes as the machine dragged him away, Chihiro's cold skin against her hands as she inspected their body, Mondo being forced apart from the closest friend he ever had, Kiyotaka's head smashed in with a hammer, Hifumi passing away for the second time, Celeste's body smashed by a fire truck, and Aoi Asahina, her Aoi Asahina, tying the noose to the ceiling of the girl's bathroom, whilst Sakura screamed "don't do it" until her mouth started to bleed. Sakura held on to Hina so tight, so desperately, throat raw, but Hina couldn't hear a sound. They were so close yet so far and Hina couldn't get Sakura's plea of don't waste yourself on me.
