Finding reception I went straight to the secretary and gave him my name. He then told me to take a seat. I flopped down on the sofa in the waiting room and decided this place was a crap heap. With peach paint peeling off the walls and one run down sofa that looked ancient, it failed to meet the high standards it showed online. The door swung open and a boy walked in. Hm the students match the shit hole of a school. I thought bitterly.

Why couldn't Georgia move to England instead of us moving to USA? I had a stable, good life over there. With friends and money.

The boy glanced at me the went to the desk, "You know my name." Before dropping his bag on the floor and sitting next to me on the creaky sofa. His brown dreadlocks were tied back and he wore a black hoodie, grey top and black skinny jeans. "Jeordie." He said holding out his hand to me.

"Anna." I shook his hand.

"Ooo British." He smirked.

"Yeah." I said staring at the wall in front of me.

"What you doing over here?" He asked.

"Dad moved here for some bitch." I sighed.

"Thats pretty shit." He said. "So you've never been to the States?"

"Yeah, when I was younger."

"Anna Williams." The secretary called.

Standing up I said, "See you around." To Jeordie before walking through a door into the Head- Principles office.

"Anna, so glad to finally meet you." The Principle stood, she shook my hand and I took a seat. "At Landors High School, we aim for every pupil to succeed and encourage every pupil to achieve their dreams. What's your aim?"

Marry someone rich and do fuck all.

"I want to go into psychology." I lied.

"Thats truly wonderful! Can I interest you in joining cheerleading?" She asked.

"Um I'm not so athletic." I shrugged.

"Okay, well, it was nice talking to you but your first lesson is about to start. Outside this room Jeordie will take you to your first lesson." She smiled. Her eyes weren't smiling. Her eyes looked sad. She was fake.

"Thankyou." I smiled an equally fake smile. Standing I slung my bag over my shoulder and left the room. I stood infront of Jeordie, "She said you'll take me to first lesson?"

"Great. I'm guessing you've got math?" He asked standing up.

"Yeah, I have maths."

"It's math." He pointed out.

"That's what you think." I smirked. He opened the door for me and let me walk through. "Thanks." I muttered.

The school was enormous. Everyone seemed to look at me then start giggling.

"Why do I get the feeling I'm being watched?" I asked Jeordie.

"You're fresh meat. Oh and last time they saw me I put a firework in a trashcan and lit it."

"Well aren't you clever." I rolled my eyes sarcastically.

"I know right." He smirked at my sarcasm. Great, someone who gets my sarcasm.

"What've you got before lunch? I'll meet you." Jeordie asked.

"Chemistry." I said.

"So this is Math." He sighed outside the door. As I was about to enter he said, "Can I have a kiss for getting you here?" His face was smiling and full of mischief.
