London, England.
my boss wanted to see me in his office.
Why now?
" l/n, we're very proud of your work here and appreciate everyone that you have captured as an international profiler, I must say that your work is outstanding.."
Of course, the long drag off..
"We're afraid to inform you that for you mental health purposes, your position as a profiler has been moved down to u.s only, you've been accepted as the new role, assistant unit chief, in the behavioral analysis unit at qauntico."
Are you kidding me? Just what I needed.
I can't believe this. Everything that's happened and now I'm getting dragged back home.
At least it's not my home town. (Las Vegas 💪)
The
"You will be leaving London tomorrow, seeing as all your bags are already packed."Yeah, I was planning on moving anyways, but not to the u.s! I was happy. All until it happened..!
Okay, yea I'm struggling to cope but it doesn't interfere with my work! It's better if I'm constantly on the move so I can't think about it, here I'm gonna be home 50% more.
Whatever.
I mean, at the least I know some of the profilers there, I worked the Ian Doyle case a couple years ago. I think they're names were... Morgan, Prentiss, hotch, jareu,Rossi, ans reid,
Spencer Reid is my childhood best friend, we were the smartest in our town. We both went to high school and college together, we stopped talking after I got hired here 10 years ago, I just never had time for friends.
9 years it's been since I talked to him, technically 19 if you don't count the case.
I walked out of my bosses office and went to pack my desk. I didn't really have anyone to say goodbye to, so I just left.
I woke up early so I could finish packing, my flight, or private jet, (my boss cares about me!!) left at 8 in the morning.
I arrived in the u,s at 12.
I hate this already.
