Mad Love (Carlisle x reader)

Love Struck p2

Here is Love struck continued as requested by people. 

Luckily, we didn't get caught, some how in a few seconds we were ready, it was very strange, Carlisle quickly moved us so we were sat at the desk and pretended nothing happened. I don't know how to feel, should I be disturbed or..?

 I was sat at my just running through some documents from patients when I heard a knock at the door. "Come in" I said hoping that it wouldn't be Carlisle, it  would just be far too awkward. "Hi y/n, you are needed by Carlisle in the Ward if that is ok." the receptionist said (Daphne). "Is there not another doctor that could help him, I am very busy right now." I said secretly not wanting the awkward tension between me and Carlisle. "I don't think so, he specifically asked for you, not sure why." Daphne said rolling her eyes, clearly just wanting to end this conversation. "ok, fine. Tell him I will be a few minutes." I said going back to the paper work on my desk. Daphne slammed the door on her way out and made her way down to the ward.

Carlisle's pov

I sat there waiting for y/n to come in, I feel like she has been avoiding me ever since what happened in my office. I know it was very unprofessional what we did, and some would say wrong on so many levels, but to me it felt so right, I have been crushing on her ever since she entered the hospital on her first day. 

I saw Daphne walking through the ward, her fingers tangled in her long ginger hair. I smiled at her, since she looked like she was walking over to me. A smirk was plastered over her purple painted lips. "Hey Carlisle" Daphne said walking closer to me, her white heels clicking with every step she took. "Hi Daphne" I smiled trying to be friendly. "y/n said she will come when she has finished her work." Daphne announced smoothing out her white dress as she spoke. "right ok" I spoke trying not to sound as disappointed as I felt. "She didn't seem to happy that you wanted her, I don't know why, if you were calling for me, I would be over the moon, as would any woman in their right mind." Daphne smirked. "Thank you, I will take that as a compliment." I said looking back at the patient's clipboard at the end of their bed. "As you should, I am complimenting your good looks and charms, doctor." Daphne said with a laugh. "by the way, you have something on your white coat." Daphne said. "Do I?" I questioned facing her. "here, let me". Daphne answered, and wiped down my chest on my coat. 

Your pov

I walked into the ward, and saw Daphne with her hands all over Carlisle. I mentally laughed. He is just a player. As is she, I should have known this would happen. Part of me wanted to run away, jump in my black jeep and drive away, where as another part of me wanted to stay and just pretend I don't care, just to get under Carlisle's skin. I decided to stay and I tried to continue as normal. I walked over to the patients bed at which Carlisle and Daphne were stood at. "How are you today, Mr Redding?" I asked walking to the patient and acting as if everything was normal and Carlisle and Daphne were not even there. Carlisle and Daphne separated after hearing me speak, acting as if nothing happened. "See you later Mr Cullen, if you need anything whatsoever you know where I am." Daphne whispered, so I wouldn't hear, but failed because I could hear every word very clearly. Daphne then walked out. "I am fine, just still have the pain on my back whenever I lay back. It hurts even now, lying down." the patient said. "Maybe we should sit you up then." I said grasping the control on the side of the bed, and pressing the up button so the bed tilted up, so Mr Redding was now sitting up. "Is that better?" I asked walking over to the window and opening the blinds so he could look out of the window. "Much better, thanks Doctor." Mr Redding said smiling. "No worries, I will just check your temperature now, just to make sure everything is fine." I smiled, walking over to the thermometer. "May I just get past Mr Cullen." I asked, not even looking at him. "of course." Carlisle said, still confused about what just happened a minute ago. I put the thermometer in the patients mouth and waited for 2 minutes before removing it. "All seems to be good, you should be good to go later today, I would say, maybe in 2 and a half hours." I said smiling, happy for the patient. "Oh, that is great news! I bet you cannot wait to get out of here!" Carlisle said finally saying something. "yes, but I am going to miss Doctor y/l/n." Mr Redding said. "You are very helpful and kind, you remind me of my granddaughter". Mr Redding finished smiling. "Aw thank you Mr Redding, I am sure your granddaughter is much kinder and more helpful than I am though." I laughed. "Right, lets leave Mr Redding alone now before he uses anymore chat up lines on you." Carlisle said laughing, causing Mr Redding to laugh too. I walked off back to my office. Not wanting to speak to Carlisle anymore. I was about to shut my door behind me until I heard "y/n". It was Carlisle's voice and I was not looking forward to hearing what he had to say.

I hope that was alright, I left it on a bit of a cliff hanger there, I will try and update more often than I am, I will update tomorrow as well, but probably will not update again until after Christmas, but I will have to see. I hope you are enjoying the story! Z x
