Certainties [Aria]

Aria's POV

A world I see is a life full of colors. Seeing everyone suceed had made me wonder, what is it for me? Now that each and everyone is setting off for more for their dreams, I should do too. One is not to be meant for less; we live for the better.

"Hime-san", I called out. Hime Shiratori. A queen-princess in my eyes. Without her and Elza-sama, I just know, I wouldn't be standing here. She was one of the very reason a new path has opened up when I was troubled. A new way, new experience, and new friends.

"Yes, Aria-chan?", she answered.

"Something seems to be troubling between you and me."

Hime-san looked at me and beamed a soft smile. That smile that knows something. She put the teacup that she was holding down. "I figured as much".

We are in a garden. Hime-san's hacienda where we stay as My Little Heart's brand company. As the new muse, I too have some troubles in facing ideas.

"Are we both ready to talk things out?", Hime-san was now looking at me with a smile but we both know that it is something to be serious about.

"I believe so, Hime-san", I reciprocated the smile as the time will come by slowly this day. We both prepare ourselves as we face the hurdles in this new journey of ours.

"I'll call our team."

A lot of things were discussed even though it was a sudden call out for a meeting. What entertained me was it was not only me and Hime-san that were bothered, but the entire team as well. We have been put off for a mean time and they were now excited to see a new project handle.

The sky had a painted view of pink and orange with a tint of purple and the board of directors were now leaving one by one, leaving the both of us once again.

I was standing not far from the table and I can hear Hime-san's footsteps hearing. "You know Aria-chan, you're not that good in keeping your feelings in." I looked at her in suprise but then I smiled softly, giving the same look to her. It's Hime-san of course.

I chuckled before giving a response, "I thought I could do this one out". I can hear her stifle laugh.

"Guess you couldn't hide this one from me", she joked. "Would you like to tell this problem of yours to me? I am more than willing to listen".

Should I? I think this is better than nothing. "It's not really a problem, more of a internal trouble."

"Oh really? Care to tell the details. There is no need to worry, may it be confusing to tell or not, I'll try to understand."

"You really get me Hime-san", whenever I see Hime-san, I could not help but smile. "I've been wondering, is this where I am meant to be? It has been bugging me ever since I met you, Hime-san. Please don't take this the wrong way, I have never doubted you and your decision. What I am referring to is the present."

"Haha, sure. Carry on."

"Yume-san", I said without thinking.

"Yes, what about her?"

I feel flustered all of a sudden. I was not meant to say her name but she suddenly came to mind.

"Now, now. Don't be like that. I know you had good intentions. Say what the mind comes up. I'm here to listen."

I scratch my head as new words come flowing in. "I can't help but be envious of her.", I admitted.

I looked up the sky and I am still amazed by the beauty it has plastered. A beautiful scenery for a heartbreak-ful confrontation.

"Wasn't she your first choice in being a muse? And now, she has reached certsin dreams such as obtaining the sun dress, in which we know as of now that has only one. But theories were debunked as she had performed with one even after Elza-sama's sundress"

I looked down, only to see Hime-san's mouth form an 'o'. "Oh my, so that was worrying you.", she said. I flash a weak smile as I feel my energy drain from all that talking.

"Yes, I think so" I jokingly said.

"Insecurity.", she started off. "It is something one of us has and I know it is not that easy to remove. I believe that is what you are feelimg right now."

I try to keep my smile as I feel something sharp in my heart. The truth can be harsh sometimes.

"But what I also know, is that what you are feeling right now is only a phase in life that we must work hard to get through. I'm not here to invalidate your feelings, but rather here to let you know that you are worth more than what you think of. Yes, I admit that I was interested in Nijino-san, but she was something I could not hold. She is a star that aims for the highest and as her senpai, I could only take care of her at first. Some people are not meant for each other."

Yes, I also believe that some people are not meant for each other. But won't that mean something? Am I taking place of someone that was supposed to be here but isn't?

"As for you, you are not here just because Nijino isn't. You are you and that is why I chose you. I know you also want to aim for the highest, and I firmly believe I can help you with that. Just because some people aren't meant for each other doesn't mean we aren't. That does not apply to us."

"Hime-san...", the feelings that were bottled up was now full. Blurry. That is what my vision is right now. My legs weaken and I drop to the ground. Crying my heart out.

"You don't have to worry about that Aira. You are worthy, will be worthy, and will always be worthy of being my muse. Remember that.", those were Hime-san's last words as I continue to bawl my eyes out. She also fell to the ground intentionally to stroke my back.

It definitely was a long day

The world is never certain. That is something I had learned througout my whole existence. This is why I have decided to move. Away from Japan. Not because the environment is not healthy, but I need a breather. Some fresh air that will help me clear my mind.

Like I said, I should be setting of for my dreams too. Aiming higher than before. That is where Florida comes into mind. I have yet to discuss things with Hime-san regarding my choice.

I was walking around the city until a familiar sweet yet loud voice calls out my name. "Aria-chan!", I look around to see who. "It has been so long since I last saw you! How have you been?", Yume-chan shouted. I see Yume-chan together with my former schoolmate, Koharu-chan

"Yume-chan! Koharu-chan! I know right? I've been good with Hime-san. How about you two?"

"Never been better", Koharu-chan answered.

"Great!", Yume-chan answered as well. "We're working on a big big biiig project as Berry Parfait!", she continued.

"Oh my, Yume-chan we aren't supposed to say that" I can feel fluster and embarassment from Koharu-chan's voice.

"Oh, really? Hehe my bad", Yume-chan scratched the back of her head with an apologizing look. I chuckle at their friendship.

"The closure you both have could never be compared.", I comment, still chuckling. "As much as I love to stay for a conversation, I'm also working on a big project with My Little Heart. Stay safe, both of you!", I playfully winked and walked away, leaving an innocent Yume and a smirking Koharu.

"You too!" they both replied and waved.

A big project, all right.
