5 years ago, ever since poofesure proposed to abby, they've lived an ideal life. stable relationship, nice house, a lambourghini, rich. poofesure thought nothing, no one could change that.
but he was wrong.
poofesure walked into target to get groceries. he had to hurry since it was already 5:38 and abby was making dinner that night. as he ran into the grain isle, he bumped into someone.
"i'm sor-" poofesure started to say before stopping to marvel at the person's beauty.
he looked like a hamburger, with the smoothest skin and glowing green eyes. he began to blush, painting his cheeks with a light shade of red.
"no, i'm sorry, it's my fault," the beautiful stranger before running off.
poofesure was mesmerized. he laid there on the floor for about 3 minutes picturing the stranger's face in his mind before getting up and continuing his shopping. but he couldn't focus at all. at the check-out isle, he zoned out fantasizing about talking to the stranger.
"um, sir? are you ok?" the cashier said.
"huh? oh, i'm fine. w-what's my total?
"69.42."
poofesure swiped his credit card, grabbed his bags and hurried out the store. his mind had been taken over by the stranger's perfect face.
when he got home, abby was waiting for him on the couch. "hi honey!" she lovingly spoke to him.
"h-hey," poofesure mumbled.
abby pasted a confused look on her face. "are you ok? you seem a bit shaken up."
"yes, i'm fine. don't worry."
"hm, ok then. what did you get from the store?"
poofesure picked up the bags and handed them to abby. "mostly spaghetti ingredients."
abby squealed with excitement, grabbed the bags and ran into the kitchen to begin dinner. poofesure ran into the bathroom and splashed cold water onto his face to clear his mind.
"get a hold of yourself, he was just a stranger. you'll probably never see him ever again. get him out of your mind." he thought out loud. poofesure then took a cold shower to calm himself. the second he got out the shower, abby yelled from the kitchen.
"dinner is ready!"
