but, with quick work, an ambulance
was on its way
flat lining a few times,
she kept coming back
until, after awhile,
she was sent into a comatose state
...
when she woke up
her memory wasn't the best
there were huge gaps
and questions no one could answer
...
she couldn't remember
what got her to this state
and she was scared to find out
instead, gwen carried on
trying to ignore how peter parker had somehow
left her life
without a single word
...
a struggling college student
that's what she was now
finding a new job at a new lab
but things seemed to be going okay
as long as she ignored
the constant urge
to find out what's true
