"All I'm trying to say is that I'm sorry Y/n... you seem like a really nice girl"
This is the second time we've spoken. How in the fuck does he think I'm a "nice" girl? Dumbass.
"You know who your talking to right Potter?"
"W-Well I just wanted to apologize for earlier and I dunno-"
"I'm joking. I have to get back to Pansy, thanks tho." I pulled him into a quick hug and gave him a reassuring pat on the back so he doesn't think I'm ditching him.
Harry's POV:
As I watched her walk away I couldn't help but feel my cheeks getting red. Oh great, here come Hermione and Ron. They're for sure going to make fun of me if they saw that.
"Your so red Harry! One small hug and its tomato city, huh?!" Ron said as he and Hermione caught up to me. Well that's one question solved, they definitely saw.
"I can't believe she hugged you! I don't mean to be rude but she barley knows you, which isn't the odd part. The weird part is that she's a Malfoy! Who would've thought they cared about people let along expressed physical affection! I honestly can't even tell if their related from that one hug-" As Hermione went on a rampage about Y/n I tuned her out like always. My eyes then caught a certain girl with y/h/c (your hair color), y/e/c eyes (your eye color) and a Gryffindor robe sitting with the Slytherins.
"You agree don't you Harry?!" Hermione, once again interrupted my thoughts.
"Oh uhm yea sure"
"Bloody hell Hermione, it was one small quick hug. Get over yourself." Ron comes to my defense.
Hermione looks at him like she did last year when he pushed a first year, she scoffed then walked away to go find Ginny or Pavarti probably.
"Great, you've pissed the dragon off Ronald."
"When don't I? But Harry, you don't like Malfoys sister do you?"
"'Malfoys sister' has a name Ron. It's Y/n. And no, I don't, I just didn't expect a hug from someone who comes from a very... dark family?"
"I'm just saying mate, you've spoken to the girl twice and your already defending her.."
"Let's just go eat before you start complaining your hungry again Ron" We sat down beside Ron's twin brothers, Fred and George. They were sitting across from us. Beside me was Neville longbottom and beside Ron was Ginny, his sister.
"Ello mate" fred starts "Heard you had a bit of a shock on the train" George finishes
"How'd you two know about that?" I reply astonished.
"Word travels fast mate-" "Especially in Hogwarts" "But don't let that get you down" "Besides, we only heard it from" "The Hogwarts grapevine" They both finished
"Well that's just brilliant." It's bad enough that they know, but hearing that it was from the "grapevine" means everyone knows.
"Pottah- Pottah!" Great. Malfoy is about to bring it up.
"Is it true you fainted? I mean you actually fainted!" he says.
"Oh shove off Malfoy" Ron says trying to turn my head away from Draco and his goons before I say something else.
