Gorou X Reader

Story 1 chapter 2

" Wake up. We're in Liyue." I slowly opened me eyes to Gorou crouching in front of me, bow in hand. I made eye contact with him and smiled. He stood up and offered me a hand, which I took. Getting off of the boat was the easy part but everything else after that was not. Liyue was so big and popular that it was almost better that Watasumi Island. I followed Gorou around keeping my head down because I didn't think the people in the troop liked me as much. And just like that we were walking out of Liyue and onto a place called Mondstadt. I wondered if it would be like Liyue by chance. " So tell me a bit about yourself. " I looked to my left and saw Gorou walking beside me. " Not really much to tell, I'm just your average resident at Watatsumi. "
"That vision tells me otherwise. "
" Your dashing looks tells me that you're more than a commander. "
I froze noticing what I has just said. He stared at me and blushed. He ran up to join the rest of the troops for I had been in the back. I am so ashamed of myself, I can't believe I just let that slide. I suddenly ran into something. I looked up and saw that all of the troops were in a combat position back to back. I drew my bow and looked around for the strange noise that was luring around. i stood there for a good minute waiting for something to pop out of the bushes but nothing happened. The rest of the troop started to run so I had no other choice but to try to catch up. I looked behind me to see a pack of hilichurls running after us. I looked back at the troop and realised that I wasn't getting the appropriate speed to catch up with them. I took a hard stop and charged into one of the hilichurls as hard as I could, knocking it to its ass. I drew my bow hoping someone from the troop would notice I was gone. A hilichurl pounced on me from behind. I couldn't move so the only thing I could do was struggle. Why are these normal hilichurls so hard to deal with. Suddenly, I felt instant relief from my back. I looked behind me to see the hilichurl laying on its back from pain with Gorou being a fair distance away. I caught up with him and we stood our ground waiting for something to pounce. I didn't want to do this but there were so many. I ran into Gorou to move him out of the way and charged as much anemo power I could. I swung my bow at the group of hilichurls, releasing a sharp slice of wind at them. The impact from the wind sent them flying in different directions. I took Gorou by the hand and helped him up. He looked around to realise that most of the hilichurls have retreated. " I have never seen that much bravery from a simple bystander. " He said to me. " You sure do have your moments. "
I blushed in response,
" I've never really done that. So it was nothing. "
He looked at me and smiled as we carried on the hike to Mondstadt.
While on the hike I realised that Gorou didn't really know my name. So if I did want to make the troop and become acquainted with him I must do a proper introduction.
It was getting late and we decided to stop somewhere near the stone gate. I was given a few sticks and a tarp by Gorou but I didn't really know what to do with them. Everyone had set up a portable adventurer tent with ease but I didn't really know how to. This was the one thing I didn't study for and it's coming to bite me back ಥ_ಥ.
"You've gotten a lot of progress." I looked behind me to see a footsoldier looking at my pile of sticks and a tarp.
" Names Yunsan. " He said to me
"Y/N. " I responded.
"you're suppose to put the stick in the ground with the tarp going over the big stick. Here, lemme show you. "
He walked through the steps on how to set up a tent. I don't really know why he was even talking to me but an alibi to make the troop is nothing to complain about.
" Thanks. I would've slept in that pile of mud over there if it wasn't for you." I said politely. He nodded his head in response and ran off to help with a fire.
I made myself home on a soft bed of grass realizing I left my bag at home. I felt so itchy. I heard someone walk into my tent. I sat up to see Gorou making himself home in my tent. I looked at him with a confused expression.
" You look like you could use something to cover up. " He said. Yeah I wanna cover up in you.
He handed me a spare sleeping bag. The color resembled black and white.
" Thank you, it means a lot to me. " I exclaimed in response. He layed down next to me. I inspected the bag closer and realised that it was covered in hair. I chuckled making eye contact with him
"... What?" he asked.
I handed him the bag so he can inspect the hair.
His eyes went wide and he started blushing.
"Oh my I'm so sorry! I didn't know that this was the one I used on the boat to go to Liyue. "
I looked at him suspiciously and rubbed his head. He rested his head on my shoulder. I proceeded to put my arm around his neck. *heh, baby bottom* I thought to myself.
"What you did back on the trial was badass. " he whisperes in my ear.
I sigh in response. I needed to eat something today, knowing that if I want to join the defense I would need good malnutrition. I lifted Gorou off my soldier and gave him a pat on the back. * That was way to friendly. Nonono I really hope he took that the wrong way. * I internally panicked. I went to see what the other troops were eating but it was all bagged food. I didn't want to beg like a dog so I went back to my tent hungry. I was surprised to see that Gorou had fallen asleep where I was sitting before. I layed down next to him, lifting hid hair out of his eyes. I looked behind him to discover that his tail does indeed wag. I giggled and pulled him close as I drifted asleep in his warm embrace.

Hello! I hope all of you had a very merry christmas. I was gonna publish part 2 whenever I felt like it but the OUTSTANDING 21 VIEWS I GOT ON PART 1(💃🕺💃🕺🕺)Made me have some inspiration to post part 2. I promise that I will at least try to be a bit more consistent when it comes to uploading but I also do need to farm my primos for Xiao banner.
