"this is the most boringest thing ever how do you enjoy this?" charlotte rolls her eyes "oh paige your phones ringing"
charlotte passes the phone over to her best friend all ready knowing who it is, charlottes smile slowly turns into a frown as she knows her own bestfriend is being sort of led on
paige puts the phone on speaker and sits it on the table as she continues curling her hair "yes josh?"
she says in a quiet fed up voice
"you should come over" the boys voice echos across the room, they both slowly shake their head
"josh your stoned, im always ur second option when ur high or drunk or took stuff etc cause you know that i care and won't just leave you" paige says as her best friend gives her the biggest smile for finally saying something
"we'll at least come over to sway tomorrow for jadens birthday, i really miss you" he says softly
paige frowns, she knows josh can care when he wants to, it's only because of ava, paige and charlotte cannot stand ava as she has made their life a missary since they became friends with the sway boys, all she does is try get josh to be all over her and the worst part is that sometimes it works
you see josh is high or drunk mostly every night so it's not hard for ava to get her own way, there always all over each other at party's and stuff and it's always paige that he comes running to in the end.
"okay we'll be there." she says as she tucks her hair behind her ears
"okay good I'll see you then" josh says as he hangs up the phone
charlotte sighs, "i can assure you right now i am only going to that party cause it's jadens birthday and he's one of our good friends."
"i know i know" paige huffs, "i know that you like josh, paige or feel bad or whatever but you need to either tell him it's not going to work until he cuts ava off or just let them be and stop talking to him babe" charlotte softly smiles as she knows her best friends won't like to hear that.
"yeah i know" paige tries to smile but all she wanted to do was cry
saturday, 5:43pm
as paige and charlotte are about to leave and lock up there apartment they look in the mirror to make sure everything looks fine, paige is wearing a cute pink and yellow dress and charlotte is wearing a black and white dress
they left to get in the uber and paige was already shaking, charlotte texted her so the driver wouldn't need to hear asking what was wrong and of course she said it was nothing but charlotte knew fine well it was about needing to see josh with ava.
they arrived at sway and jaden, avani and charli were all sitting outside , charli runs up to the two girls giving them the biggest hug ever
"happy birthday j!!" paige shouts as she gently pulls away from charli to go give jaden a hug
when the two were hugging jaden whispered into her ear, "if anything happens with ava and josh and you need me you know where i'll most likely be"
paige just smiles back to him knowing that's what everyone was going to say to her today, she walks in the house with avani beside her and the first thing she saw was josh sitting on the sofa beside bryce, he was already the drunkest one there, oh dear
paiges pov
"PAIGE" bryce screams insisting me to walk over so that's what i done, "not seen you in ages bitchhhh" he says smiling at you and handing you a drink as i just laugh
i tried my hardest not to look at josh but i just couldn't help it, there's something about him stopping me from moving on all ready, we've never properly been a thing there's just been tension with us the last 2-3 months.
bryce insists that i sit down and of course the only space there was the one beside josh, great.
i sit down and he was already questioning me as usual, his eyes were so red and puffy from marijuana but somehow made him look even more attractive than usual?
without saying a word he put his arm around me with not a care in the world, it made me feel safe somehow, but why do i care he doesn't even want me.
charlotte walks in with jaden and she looks at me and josh, at first she looked confused but then she just smiled, charlottes not a big fan of josh cause she thinks he's using me but she knows I have a soft spot for him so she understands
2 hours later
"g- get of me?" josh says as i thought i thought i was dreaming wiping my eyes while putting my head up, i must've fell asleep "huh" i reply to the brunette boys who am i convinced is the love of my life yes! is he actually? probably not!
"get off me" he repeats "sorry i never meant to fall asleep sorry if im boring you" i whisper awkwardly "oh no paige.. your not boring me just ava's here i gotta go get her" he says white standing up and kissing my cheek

he walked in with her and she was wearing this brown ribbed long sleeved top with white cargo jeans
i went to find charlotte but assumed she would be with kio as they have been friends for years
instead i went and sat with dixie, bryce, jaden, quinton and lauren kettering!
"brucey babyyyy" i scream running up to bryce, no one understands my love for bryce he is like my funny cool big brother that everyone loves that ive never had he understands me and as much as he is the biggest wind up if somethings serious he gives really good honest advice, and hugs!
"hey p you okay" he says "yeah i guess have any of use got coke?" i reply "since when do you take substances!?" jaden says

"she was friends with cynthia until she started stealing clothes and bags and stuff from her, thats how she met us cynthia invited her to a party, she was devastated when they stopped being friends but shes really changed now" quinton awnsered dixies question
"paige babe their making out on the couch like she's literally on top of him in front of everyone" lauren looks at me with genuine disgust
