Notes: This story is fiction. It is based on a gay drama series known as "Cucumber". I do not own any rights of BBC.

It has been revealed that there will be no second series of Cucumber. Quoting the words of the writer Russell T. Davies. This story is what I have made up in relation to the first series.

Anyway let's get on with the story...

Henry (Narrating): Here we go again. The manhunt in the supermarket. I probably don't need to go into detail with what is meant by Cucumber, Banana and Tofu. Let's just say, they are what they look like. It has been about seven years since Lance's death, so now I'm on the look out for more men. Men. Men. Men. But the question is... Where do I look?...

*cucumber*

-So I was sat with Freddie. Recoiling our times Apart. Catching up on the years we've missed. When he says...-

Freddie: Do you wanna come back to mine?

Henry: Well... Um... I couldn't-I shouldn't.

Freddie: Come on. No dodgy landlords this time.

(They both laugh)

Henry: Well, I do live quite far away, soooo....

Freddie: Great! You'll have to show me your new moves.

(Henry laughs nervously)

Henry: You seem different from the time I last saw you. Have you finally seen the light?

Freddie: (Eating a chunk of bread) You could say that, yeah.

Henry : Huh. So what have you been getting up to these many years?

Freddie: Well. Me and Aiden are now a happily married couple. (He flaunts his hand). I have a very stable position as a solicitor. And am now living the dream. (He raises his hands and lets out a whoop)

Henry: Since your happily married. Aiden would not approve of you hitting on me. I know what you people are like.

Freddie: Jeez! Never! I'm 30, you're 52. Henry, you're old enough to be my dad! ( Eyebrows raises and he gives Henry a qwerty smile)

Henry: (Looks down, nervously) Be back in five. I need to- I need the toilet.

(Freddie looks off in his direction. Smiling independently.)

Scene 02 Walking down the street...

Henry: We all should get back together. The collective I mean. It'd just be like the great old days, you know?

Freddie: I understand, ever since the day I left you, I've been thinking, "Poor old Henry, been left alone at the hardest of times. It was true, how you were up your own ass, but looking back now, you grew, you learnt how to be sociably acceptable, with every passing day since that day you left Lance-since he had died. (There was an intense pause) You regret leaving him, like I regret leaving you.

(They stop walking. A single tear forms in Henry's left eye.)

Freddie: Oh, here comes the water works.

(Freddie holds out a helping hand, but Henry launches into a bear hug)
