Sylvie
"Damn it..."
Loki and Sylvie had yet to celebrate Midgardian holidays. Despite the fact that they had been living there for quite a while. But this one, this one she was determine to participate in. Despite the lazy protests of her beloved.
Sylvie reached up, and was only a few inches short from the top of the non decorated tree. She sighed, this would require asking for help.
"Loki!"
"Yes darling?" He called out from the kitchen, or somewhere around there.
"Get over here!"
He was over in an instant. Dressed in comfortable clothes and his raven black hair down. He smirked, "Short are we?"
"Shut up and help me." She growled, clutching the star tighter.
He shrugged and went over to her. He picked her up, which wasn't exactly what she had in mind. But before she could argue against it, she sat on his shoulders. He picked her up with almost ease and she only held firmly onto his arms, trying not to fall.
"Loki!"
"What? I'm helping!"
"This is not what I meant by help me, you clown!"
"Well you're already up there." Loki pointed out. "Just put the star thing up there."
Sylvie frowned at him. But he had a good point. She was already up there and now didn't even have to reach too far. They should have gotten a smaller tree. With one hand she held the star that was to go on top of the tree, and her other hand was held by Loki's own. She stretched toward the top of the tree, trying to place the star at the top of the tree but she couldn't quite reach yet.
"Move a little closer." She told Loki, squeezing his hand gently.
"Alright..." He said, uncertainly. He took a few careful steps until we was almost right next to the tree.
"There, perfect." She said, making him stop. She placed the star, on top of the tree, having to balance it for a few seconds before, but it was on there at the end. "Its on, put me down now."
"Really?" Loki said, looking up and taking a step back so he could see. For someone who complained a whole lot about participating in the holiday, he seemed excited.
"Hey!" She cried as he almost dropped her. "Put me down, Loki!"
"I'm not gonna drop you."
"Yeah, right." She said, trying to get off of him. But this only caused him go unbalance and fall toward the tree, kocking it, and Sylvie down, as well as himself. "Oww..."
She complained, rubbing her head in pain. The tree had fallen over, as did Loki and Sylvie. She sat up and turned to him with a frown. He only looked at her and laughed. His laughter soon turned contagious and she found herself laughing uncontrollably too.
After a few minutes, they controlled themselves and together they put the tree back up. Loki then used his magic to put the star at the top, which was her original idea. They then begun on decorating the tree, well not they, more like Loki did while Sylvie just decorated the rest of the living room.
"The star was the most important part wasn't it?" He had said. "It only makes sense that I finish decorating this."
"Whatever," She had replied and then begun to decorate the rest of the living room.
Sylvie decorated colorfully, although it wasn't to her liking, it was how the holiday was usually celebrated. But she had to admit, the green was very nice. Loki, however, decorated the tree with orbs, ribbons, lights, and more. Much of which were green or black. Only.
