Sweet and Sour || LT

It was a new day in London, and I just moved to a new apartment which I loved. I was on my way to the store to buy a few snacks to put in my pantry.

I parked my car and walked in, I see a cashier sitting down on his phone. He looks up at me and nods as a sign of a little greeting.

I look around the store to find the snacks I wanted, once I finished browsing around the store I found a few things I've wanted to buy.

I go to the cashier so I could check out, "hello, find everything alright?" The cashier asked. "Yes I did thank you" I say politely.

He looks up at me with a little smirk on his face, "my names Louis" he says, I smile "I'm Amanda."

"Are you new here?" Louis asked, I nod "yes I moved to a new apartment not to long from here" I answer.

"That's nice, oh did you want to buy this too?" Louis says holding up a lollipop. I giggled, "yes that too" he smiled at me and bagged all my items and handed them to me.

"I'll see you around" Louis said waving me a goodbye, I wave back at him and walked back to my car.

The day went by fast and I met up with one of my childhood friends josh, he was quiet the party boy. He were to go out to parties almost every night, but when he was free, me and him would hang out.

We talked for a while back at my apartment until I was getting tired, josh headed out and wished me a good night.

I took a quick shower, wore some comfortable clothes and headed to sleep.

I was happy at my new apartment instead of that neighborhood I used to live in, everyone was just so negative there. I closed my eyes and slowly started to fall asleep.

The next day came and I woke up by the sun shining through the window, and down to my face.

I made my bed, took a shower, got dressed, and headed out to eat breakfast with Emily my old neighbor. She was the only one who had a bright smile on her face every morning.

We met up at a little coffee shop so we could talk for a little until we go out separate ways for the day.

We sat down and had a little chat about her new relationship with a boy she met, it was nice how she would light up talking about him.

After we ate breakfast and had our coffee, Emily had to go and run a few errands. We say goodbye to each other and left the cafe.

I had nothing to do so I drove around the town looking for shops I could go in and browse.

I was having a little sweet tooth, and wanted one of those lollipops I bought yesterday. So I drive to the store I bought it from, I walk in to see Louis sitting down playing with a rubber ball.

"Hay it's Amanda right?" Louis says, I smiled "hi Louis" I say walking towards him after grabbing the lolly.

"Just this, I loved the last one I bought" I say taking out my wallet.

Louis stops me as he pushed my hands away, "you know what, this is on me" he says as he handed me the lolly with a smile on his face.

"Are you sure, it's just a dollar" I say, he looked at me with a smile, "exactly it's just a dollar don't worry about it" he replies.

I smile back at him, "thanks" I tell him taking it from his hand and walking out of the store. Before I did, I hear Louis speak.

"Hay this is gonna sound random but can I get your number?" He asked as the thought of being friends with him seemed nice, I nodded.
