It was raining over Los Angeles early this morning. The city looked pretty as the sun rose up in the rain. The sunset reflected off over the rainy buildings. The slight thunder in the background gave a calming vibe throughout the city.
I love looking out this window in my apartment that overlooks the city. I could hear the rain outside and it looked so pretty to see the city during the rain. I moved into this apartment 2 years ago because of the view of the city.
The sound of the rain and noise of the city made me think back to my days in highschool. I used to look through the flea market in highschool when I didn't really know anyone. I loved to collect the stones that had special meanings. I also knew someone who said that they looked lovely on me one late and starry night. We had fun that night in the tent on the hill.
To tell you this story I would have to take you back to where it began. It all began halfway through the first semester of school. I had just turned 18 and I was exploring a new world. Not really though because I was a little baby in highschool. To really get into this story I'm going to step into my highschool shoes.

(Back in highschool)I was looking at different rocks in the flea market. They had several new rocks but I only could get two since I was low on money. I lived in my own apartment so most of my money went to Bill's and such. When I did have free money I liked to go to the flea market. I saw a man walk up to the table and look beside me. A blush formed on my cheeks because He was so handsome. He was the type that girls fawned over and went crazy for.
I was deciding between the new rocks again and trying to avoid looking at the man. I didn't want to fall into a weird trance of looking at this man. He seemed to be looking for a specific rock beside me. I reached for the last purple rock in a container and our hands touched. We both had reached for the same rock.
"Sorry sir, I didn't mean to touch you like that. You can have the rock if you'd like." I said to the older man.
He lifted up the rock out of the container. He looked at the rock and then brought it to the side of my face. After a few seconds he smiled at me. His smile was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. It was even more beautiful than all the pretty rocks on the table combined.
"This rock would look good on you. It matches your eyes. Here you can have it" the man said and then put it in my hands.
"Thank you sir." I said to the man who was now walking away from the table.
"You're welcome" he said and then grabbed a rock before he finally walked away to pay.
I smiled down at the rock he gave me. It was a magnificent light purple, almost lavender like. I like the color of the rock and I'm glad the nice gentlemen decided to give it to me. I looked around a bit more at the shop before I paid for the items I got. I bought two other Rocks and a necklace for the one rock the nice man got me.
It was pretty late when I decided to walk home from the flea market. I still had a bit of homework to do so I wanted to go home and do my homework. My apartment wasn't that far from the flea market. It was about a ten minute walk and was why I was always around the flea market. I was glad I had a place to live and a job that paid me well.
I had to get an apartment last year after my parents got into a bad car crash. I didn't want to live in the boys home so I got emaciated from the system and got an apartment and job. It did get a bit lonely living alone though. I probably should get a dog or a cat.
I unlocked my apartment with a smile. I was glad to be home and have some time to relax. I started working on my essay first. We were getting a new teacher tomorrow and he already assigned an essay for us to do on canvas. It wasn't hard though, it was a simple essay about ourselves. I just wrote what was in my head and then moved on to my math homework. I really didn't like calculus as it was so difficult. I was actually doing really good in all of my classes though.
