Uma pov:
It was nearly noon.
"Where is he?" I mumbled.
Harry still didn't return and Ben looked at me.
"He means a lot to you, doesn't he?"
"Shut up, AK!" I barked and he sighed.
"Why are you so hateful?"
"You chose those four little brats while I deserved the chance. All three of us did."
"Three...?"
"See that guy in the nets? That's number three." I said and Ben looked at me.
"I never meant to upset anyone. We'd start with a few VK's and then more would come later." he said and I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever. We'll get the barrier down."
"Uma, the core four is here!" Gil yelrd and something didn't feel right, where was Harry?
"Pixie, lost your man? Break the barrier and you'll get him back!" I said and Gil held Ben on his knees.
"I think I have something you'd rather want Uma..." Mal said teasingly and I looked at her.
"Like what?!"
"Like, him." Evie said as she pushed Harry forward. He was also on his knees, but with blood all over his face (well from his nose and down) and he had a huge black eye.
"Release him!" I demanded and Mal laughed.
"Release Ben! Seems like a fair trade huh?"
"Cut the ropes." I said to Gil.
"Don't! ...it's not worth it." Harry said and I looked at him.
"Shut up you." Jay said as he held a knife on his throat.
"Look at that, the pirate thinks he's not worth it for his captain... How delightful." Mal said and it really pissed me off.
Harry and I locked eyes and I knew he meant it.
He didn't want me to give Ben over for him.
"Don't." Harry said once more and Carlos looked at Mal.
"We're not actually going to kill Harry if Uma doesn't-"
"Shut up Carlos!" Mal and Jay said at the same time and Evie looked at me.
"Look, we don't want to spill more blood then needed. Just give us Ben and we'll release Harry." she said and I looked from Ben to Harry.
"Gil, release him." I said and Harry looked at me.
"Uma, don't!"
"They'll kill you!" I shouted.
"So let them. They still need the king and you can still force them to-" but Harry was cut off by Jay.
"Shut up asshole!"
Harry looked at me and he actually was willing to die, but I couldn't let him...
"Gil, are you deaf?! I said release Ben!" I yelled and Gil quickly untied Ben.
I dragged him towards the docs and looked at Mal.
"Release Harry and you'll get your king."
"Cut the ropes." Mal said towards Jay.
We both release the guys at the same time and everyone went separate ways.
"Well that was a waste of time." Harry said as he whiped blood from his face.
"Are you nuts?! They could've killed you! Of course I wouldn't let that happen!" I yelled at him and he looked at me.
"They still would've needed the king. You could've forces them to break the barrier regardless!"
"But what use would it be if you were dead!" I yelled and I felt how tears filled my eyes.
I couldn't lose Harry.
"I thought you said you were scared to die?" I mumbled and Harry closed his eyes as he sighed.
"That was different... This would've been for a great cause. To help you get your freedom!"
"I wouldn't be free! I'd get haunted by the memory of you being killed! Because I'd know you'd be dead thanks to me!" I shouted and the tears rolled down my cheeks.
Harry's expressions changed from mad to guilty and he cupped my face in his hands.
"I'm sorry... I..."
I burried my face in his chest and he wrapped his arms around me.
"I can't lose you." I said softly and Harry sighed.
"I can't lose you either. And I don't want you to lose me..."
"Then why did you...?"
"I already told you..."
I could tell that Harry felt horrible for the risk he took and I looked at him.
"We'll get our chance of breaking the barrier. And we'll both be there." I said and Harry smiled as he used his thumbs to whipe my tears away.
"Aye Captain." he said and a chuckle escaped from me.
