Summary:

A young man with a harsh past, Kim Taehyung finds himself accepting an offer to work as a personal bodyguard for the son of a famously wealthy CEO. His motives for stepping into the role may be a little questionable, though he's confident that he has the skills necessary to defend the life of another.
Jeon Jungkook also hasn't had the easiest life, though he's always done his best to hide his suffering with arrogance and charm. But when a vicious crime tears down everything he knows, he's forced to accept the help of a mysterious stranger.
The two men are thrown together, navigating dangerous and unknown territory while learning friend from foe. But all is not what it seems and not everyone has the purest intentions. New alliances will be formed while past relationships are put to their tests.

A/N: This was definitely one of my favorite Taekook fanfics, because of the emotions it portrays, and the emotions I went through while reading it. It was like a rollercoaster of emotions.

So currently, I'm rereading this fanfic, and I'm still in awe of how the emotions are expressed, and how things are portrayed. And the way that Taehyung's and Jungkook's relationship is explained, and written is just *chef's kiss*.
