So this is my first story i've ever written so i really hope you all like it, it might be a little boring at the begining but trust me it gets better. So uh yeah hope you enjoy :)

Chapter 1

"Beep, beep, be-"

Rolling over I slamed my hand on the alarm clock shutting it off. Man I hate mondays. Groaning I swung my legs off my bed moving them around looking for my slippers, slpping my feet in I grabbed the towel of the night stand and walked into the bathroom.

Locking the door, I turned on the shower and hopped in. Ahh now that wakes me up. Closing my eyes, enjoying the hot water on my skin I began to drift off...

"MEREDITH! You've got 20 minutes until you need to leave for school!" Mom screamed at me from the kitchen.

Speeding through the rest of my shower I quickly dried off and brushed my teeth. Leaving the bathroom I threw on my white lace jcrew dress and a yellow jcrew cardigan, digging through my closet I found my brown cowboy boots after putting them on my outfit was complete.

Stting down at my vanity i flipped my head upside down and threw my wet dull blond hair into a messy bun. Applying a small amount of make up, I grabbed my phone and bag and left the room.

"Morning mum!" Learning over I kissed her cheek.

Mum was standing over the stove probably making her daily pancakes, her blond hair was in a sleek ponytail and she was wearing one of her oh so expensive suits. No matter how early it was my mother still managed to look like a greek goddess. I wish I could have inherited her looks. Maybe i wouldn't be the only girl in my school who never made it pass first base.

"Hey mum, I have to go to Mark's afterschool today! Me, him and Kelly have a biology project due tomorrow!" Sitting down at the island mum brought me over some pancakes and orange juice.

"Okay sweetheart, just rember that we are having dinner with the new neighbors this evening so be back before supper. Oh and your chemistry teacher called, missy why didn't you tell me you have a D."

"Mom i didn't know..." Techinally i did but there was no way in hell that i was telling her that.

Finishing up my breakfast i put my dishes in the dishwasher, grabbed my keys out of the bowl and left for school.

I always hated driving to school the radio played the worst music imaginable and my car was way to flashy. Like seriously what 17 year old teenage girl needs a brand spanking new Mercedes Benz. I guess my mom doesn't realize that i only have two friends Mark and Kelly.

Me and school never really got along. Don't get me wrong i'm far from stupid, actually I hold the highest test score in my school. Its just that ever since that horrible incident I went from being well liked to the most un-popular girl at school and kinda started giving up on the whole smart girl thing.

Even the nerds wouldn't talk to me. Shuttering I pulled into my designated parking spot.

"MEREDITH! MERR!" Kelly ran over to me with Mark trailling behind.

"Kelly, why on earth do you need to be so loud? I love you and all but please just quiet down."

Pulling her into a hug I caught Mark chuckling like he did everytime i told Kelly to be quiet. Maybe because it never actually happens.

Stepping out of the hug I looked over Kelly's outfit, I swear she always looked like she just stepped out of a Ralph Lauren photo shoot. She was wearing a dark blue blouse, khakis and brown riding boots that stopped above the knee. Kelly was always beautiful, she had long wavy black hair and ivory skin, her eyes were the color of lilacs which I was always jelous of.
