'I wish to hold the crystal snow forever.......someday'.
Some things are worth waiting for. Hence, I've been waiting, since my hope grew again like the trees in spring, since the long days of summer decided to put my patience to a test, since the fall of leaves grew my anticipation in autumn, until the fall of crystal snow, the moment I prepared for, yet I froze as I saw her warm soul standing in front of me.

6 years, the time we spent together in school. I still remember the day we had to walk apart in our own ways for university. Ever since, I've been waiting for the first snowfall.

The day finally arrived, when my anticipation spiked with a text from her, informing me about her arrival.

As soon as I was out on the street, the cold chilly air tickled my spine making me snug into my jacket even more.
The snowfall from the dusky sky and the thoughts in my head were increasing rapidly.

As I turned around the corner, I saw her, shining bright like a crystal snow. She was standing with her chin resting in an ivory scarf wrapped around her neck. Her short brunette hair was being slowly caressed by the wind. My eyes widened as I saw her ethereal beauty standing just a few feet away from me.

I quickly turned back and pushed my body to lean against a wall at the corner. My extreme anxiety made me desperate to breathe.

I was surprised at how fast my anticipation turned into fear with the fact, that she prioritized meeting me during her winter break. I was the one whom she truly cared for. We shared every moment, every secret, but I wasn't prepared enough to share the truth that somehow the friendship we shared, turned into love.
