18th of September, 2003

It was the exact date of the time when it all started...  the hearty laughs, the innocent smiles, and the unbreakable bond that Taylor never anticipated that she will ever have.

It was the first time Taylor ever laid her eyes on the brunette girl who—seized her heart with those ocean blue eyes but— considered her as her best friend.

It was easy but complicated at the same time, knowing that the blonde caught some strange yet genuine feelings for a certain girl.

...

...

...

Under the bright summer sun. Young, naive Taylor would go to the park and sit at the bench, hoping to meet her dream guy like in the movies.

It was cliché, credulous evenand how the hell was young Taylor so gullible at such a young age— Moreover to the fact that Taylor was a sappy kid, it's also a word that 21-year-old Taylor would never associate with. Ever.

And quite frankly, Taylor still gets the icks till this day remembering of her unsophisticated attitude when it comes to this.

Taylor awfully remembers it all too well. Hell, she used to go there everyday, sit on a wooden park bench and watch people do their thing— like a fucking stalker, what the fuck.

Does she stare at every guy's faces when one is passing by? Maybe.

As days passed by ever since she started to sit on a bench, eating ice cream or write songs on her handy-dandy notebook, she did find someone. However, instead of her dream man, she found a girl.

"Excuse me, mind if I sit here?" A brunette girl walked up to her and asked her. With an accent, might I add! It sounded so fucking exquisite when the words rolled off the girl's tongue.

Taylor obviously looked up, to see whether the girl was talking to her young and faithfully straight mind or not. And yes, yes she fucking was.

The girl looked like her age, Taylor couldn't help but admire the girl's pretty features. But what caught Taylor's eye was the brunette's flashing teal eyes that basically stored the whole ocean.

It was truthfully breathtaking. Taylor would've never thought of someone having such capacity to represent an entire ocean by only just their eyes. But it was right in front of her.

Taylor only smiled at the brunette then nodded, inching to the side to make space for the girl to sit on.

The girl mumbled an quiet, yet audible thanks. And then placed herself next to Taylor. Taylor tilted her head to the side, attempting to take another look at the girl's bewitching blue eyes, only to be blocked by the other girl's hair as the girl looked down on her notebook scribbling something.

And there they were, sitting in silence as they watched the people do their own errands from afar.

I wonder what she's writing.

From that moment, Taylor felt it all without knowing. The butterflies, leaping colors- you know... Taylor swore she could feel a whole fairytale whilst describing what she felt.

Then, the girl started sitting next to her everyday and do her own thing, rain or shine. She would come up to Taylor, ask the same question every time. Taylor honestly found it quite odd, but at least she gets to hear the girl's voice, so she really won't be complaining anytime soon.
