"Are you coming?" The underground hero yelled up the steps, waiting for the troublemaker to come skipping down the steps. "I'm not going!" Calypso said, peeking around the corner, still dressed in her pajamas. Aizawa sighed, tucking his hands into his pockets. "Whatever floats your boat," Aizawa mumbled before waltzing out the door.
Calypso giggled, skipping down the steps as she ran to wave her father off. Never had she gone to school on the first day, especially since he was a teacher. She would wait until her father got home and asked him about all the students and their unique quirks.
The girl made her way back up the steps, deciding to roll over for another hour until she started her day. Unfortunately for her, her father had texted her, requesting she do a list of errands while he was out. Groaning, Calypso laid out in her bed, staring at the ceiling until she decided she was ready to get started.
First on her list was laundry. If there was one thing Calypso hated doing, it was her father's laundry. It always consisted of dirty musty socks, one of his stiff scarfs, and a questionable amount of dark clothing. She threw in a few loads of his clothes first, going back upstairs to start the second task on the list; cleaning the house.
Their house wasn't too large, seeing as Aizawa was a bit of a minimalist. Calypso started downstairs seeing as this floor wasn't as messy as the rest of the rooms.
Finishing with the kitchen, the dining room, and the living room, Calypso heard the chimes of the washers going off, alerting her of the finished loads of clothes. Running downstairs, Calypso quickly put the clothes in the dryer, putting in a load of her clothes to wash.
A few hours later, Calypso had cleaned the first floor, the bedrooms, and the lounge, folded and put away all the clothes, and decided to sit out in the back to paint a quick picture of their backyard.
Stretching, Calypso looked down at her mess and her masterpiece. She was extremely satisfied with her art and took it inside to dry. She quickly washed her hands of all the paint as she checked the time. It was currently 5:00 and she knew her father was on his way home.
Calypso decided to make a more southern meal. Fortunately, they had everything she needed to make crock-pot chicken and dumplings, a recipe she learned from her adoptive parents back when she was younger.
The cooking process took about an hour and a half, it took another half hour to clean everything up. Surprisingly, her father hadn't shown up yet. Calypso carefully wrapped the meals in saran wrap and put them in the microwave.
Lastly on the list was grocery shopping. It was late, around 7:30, and Calypso knew that the only place open was the family-owned market down the street. Calypso checked the refrigerator to see what they were missing, besides the few things she was told to get. The girl quickly made her way to their closest market, shuffling around the elderly couples and mothers with their children.
The short female frowned as she reached for a few bowls of ramen, the items being on too high of a shelf. "Let me," A voice from behind her said. She watched as a taller figure grabbed the last two bowls of ramen and handed it to her, a smile on his face.
The male was incredibly handsome, causing the girl to fluster up a bit. He was tall, Calypso guessed around 175 cm, and very lean. He wore an off-white cardigan, a black collar shirt underneath. The cardigan was big, hanging over his dark blue jeans and covering his hands. Calypso looked up at him, her gaze becoming lost in his navy blue eyes.
"Uh, thanks," Calypso mumbled, grabbing the ramen from out of his hands. "No problem," The boy had a blush of his own after taking in Calypso's appearance.
Calypso quickly made her way home after paying for her items, the scene replaying in her mind the entire way back.
