Chapter 12: Trust Issues & When You're Hurt, Im Hurt.

*Dana's POV*

Why is it so hard to let your older sister and your best friend be in love with each other? That's the question I keep asking myself.

Jasmine. I can trust Jasmine and her choices, but I specifically told her NOT to date the boys & fall in love with any of them.

You may say I'm overprotective, but I just care so much about Jasmine.

Even though she's older than me, I feel like I'm the older one.

Some siblings always fight and stuff , but that's not how me and Jasmine are. We are very close. That's why I don't want her getting hurt. I love her to much to see her hurt.

Now Gabe. Gabe is my bestfriend, bandmate and brother. He's always there for me. He's like an older brother to me. All the boys are.

But... when we first stepped foot in this house I told them not to date,flirt or fall in love with her. Of course Dalton and Cole were taken, so I was just talking to Will and Gabe.

I can trust Gabe , but I wouldn't trust him with my sisters heart. I don't want him playing with it then leaving it. I know he's going to hurt her. He already had hurt her.

Now Vanessa is mad at me because I won't let them be. I just don't want her hurt! Why can't anyone understand that I don't want my sister hurt?! I'm trying to HELP Jasmine!

*Gabe's POV*

Why does Dana hate the fact that me and Jasmine are going out?

Does he not trust me?

Does he really think I'll hurt her?

Does he really think I'm playing with her heart?

Does he really think I don't love her?

I really do love her. With all my heart and soul.

But clearly he can't see that. I want to be with Jasmine, a lot, but i hate the fact that I'm the reason why I'm splitting their family apart. Thats why i broke up with her the first time!

Maybe I should go talk to him about it....

I got out of the guest room and walked to Dana's room. I knocked and the door until I heard feet shuffling.

"Oh hey-I mean what do you want?" he said coldly.

"I need to talk to you." I said then pushed past him, sitting on the bed.

"Get out my room, jackass." He said clearly annoyed.

"Not until we talk about this." I said trying not to start another fight.

"Whatever. Just hurry up. You are already wasting my time." He scoffed.

i stood up and said, "Look, Dana. I know you don't want me and Jasmine together,but-" i got cut off.

"But what? huh? Your gonna say you love her or something? I don't believe you really love her!" he screamed with clenched fists.

"Look i really do love her, okay! She means everything to me! You clearly are blind if you can't see that!" I said as i pushed Dana back a little.

"Do whatever you want! I don't give a fuck anymore! I know your gonna hurt her! You don't even fucking love her!" He screamed. What he said hurt. I do love her. I won't hurt her... he won't trust me....

"DANA! STOP CUSSING! IT IS NOT RIGHT!" Dana's dad yelled.

"Yes, Dad." He said annoyed. "Just stay away from her, Gabe." He said then walked towards the door. He turned around and said "I don't trust you with her heart. She's a fragile girl. I know you will break her." He said then left the room, leaving me angry and disappointed.

I need to prove to him that I won't hurt her. I love her to much.

*Jasmine's POV*

I stepped out the shower, and got dressed. I was going to go to the mall with the girls.

"Hurry up, Jasmine!" Vanessa yelled.

"Get your butt down here!" Madison yelled.

"Your slower than my grandma!" Samely yelled.

"Hold on!" I yelled back.

I was gonna find Gabe and say bye before i left. I walked to the guest room thinking he was there. I opened the door and saw Cole,Dalton and Will, with their eyes glued to the T.V, since they were playing on the XBOX 360.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Hi." they said not taking their eyes off the TV

"Do you guys know where,Gabe is?" i asked.

"Check Dana's room." Will said.

"Thanks." i said then left the room.

I walked down the hall and was about to open the door, when i heard Dana and Gabe yelling. I peeked through the door.

"But what? huh? Your gonna say you love her or something? I don't believe you really love her!" he screamed.

Were they talking about... me?

"Look i really do love her, okay! She means everything to me! You clearly are blind if you can't see that!" Gabe said as he pushed Dana back a little.

"Do whatever you want! I don't give a fuck anymore! I know your gonna hurt her! You don't even fucking love her!" He screamed.

Why doesn't he know that he actually does love me!

"DANA! STOP CUSSING! IT IS NOT RIGHT!" dad yelled.

HAHA BUSTED!

"Yes, Dad." He said annoyed. "Just stay away from her, Gabe." He said then walked towards the door. I backed up a bit getting ready to run. He turned around and said "I don't trust you with her heart. She's a fragile girl. I know you will break her." He said then came out the door.

I picked myself up and was about to run, but i tripped over my own feet. Stupid clumsiness.

"Were you listening?" Dana asked.

"Um no." i lied.

"Shut up. I know your lying." He said. Dang it, Dana.

"Whatever." I said.

"Look, I know you heard. I don't want you seeing him! You know he will break you!" Dana yelled.

"I know he won't! I love him and He loves me!" I yelled back.

I saw the girls run up the stairs, trying to see whats happening.

"NO HE DOESN'T! HE'S LYING JASMINE!" Dana yelled.

"Babe! Calm down!" Vanessa said.

"C'mon. Lets just go shopping now." Samely said.

"Yeah c'mon Jaz." Madison said ushering me over.

"No. Not yet." I said, as i turned back to Dana.

"Just stay-" He tried to say but i cut him off.

"No! I won't stay away from the boy i LOVE. Why do you even care if I'm hurt anyway? What is it going to do to you?" I asked angrily.
