words fill the laptop screen as the [eye color]-eyed teen places their thoughts into oddly-narrated words onto their device. their headphones blare in their ears as they play a single song on loop to wrack their brain for more ideas for their fanfiction. the typing stops, the teen's face scrunching up in thought as they rub the sides of their head with their fingers in an attempt to fill their mind with scenarios and words to keep their story going.

'the giddy melody of puppy princess plays as the sleep deprived teen wraps their arms around the ruby-orbed boy, asking, "is this okay?"

the boy replies, "it's fin-'

a bright light interrupts their typing, their eyes closing in instinct as they adjust to the sudden white filling their room.

finally, the teen can see. an eye-straining white resides in the powered-on television. when the hell did the tv turn on?

ripples plague the television screen as the artist's eyebrows furrow in confusion. slowly, a darker color lumps in with the pure white of the tv and suddenly-
