the three sit awkwardly as the car moves, a pregnant silence inhabiting the vehicle. hyperactively aware of their surroundings, [name] feels the car's vibrations and the noise of the engine. razor looks out the window, staring in awe at the tall buildings and the other structures outside the car.
[name] looks out the window as well, fidgeting with their hands while their ears pick up the muffled sound of the radio. man, had car rides always been this nerve-wracking?
reality seems to punch the [hair color]-head as the situation dawns upon them. a video game character was in the car with them. about to buy clothes and necessities for said character. for razor.
what in dear heavens kind of situation is this? is this a dream? no, it seems a little to realistic to be a dream. wait, but, some dreams seem so real too and then you just end up waking up and realizing—hey airhead, it was a dream.
................okay maybe this was a dream. 'goodness, please do not ever wake up from this,' they thought to themself, admiring the boy beside them.

"welcome to the mall," [name] enthusiastically exclaims. "the mall?" razor asks, eyes observing his surroundings. "the mall. practically a big place with shops, restaurants, and a lot more! we're gonna buy you some things like clothes and deodorant or whatnot."
"hmm...i...see," the red-eyed boy replies, questions filling his head yet he voices not a single one.
"let's go, kids," [mom's name] calls. the two teenagers follow close behind, one smiling and one curiously looking around.
