Chapter 5

"Hey, Skyler. I'm dropping off your Father and your little brother."
Lucas brought drunken Axel and Martino back to the palace, surprising Daniel.

"Father!? Martino!? Why are you guys so wasted!?"

"Hahah, your Father has always been a drinker. But poor Martino was knocked off after his first drink."

"Whaaaatttt ~~, tell me who. I'm not drunkkk.~~"
Axel said in an obvious drunken state.

"Father! Thank you so much, Uncle Lucas. I'll take it from here."

"A load you got here, Skyler."

"Oh, it's not a big deal, Uncle. Thanks again."

Daniel took Martino and Axel to their bedroom.

"Hmm, both are so wasted. How could Father bring my little brother to such a place...but it could be good. Father used to be so serious and stressed out all the time. He became such a free spirit after he's gone from this world.

Before Daniel could leave the room, an unconscious Martino grabbed his hand and dragged him to hug on the bed.

"Hey! Martino! You're very drunk! Let me go."

"Ngghhhh....Noooo, I'm not letting go. You must sleep with me here tonight." His hold was tighter by then.

"Hey, hey. Don't be so lewd like when you were Satan! For god's sake. Ah, don't touch there!!"

He could not escape the firm grip, therefore submitted to lay there.

"Ngghh, Brother Skyler, please don't leave me. I don't want to be alone anymore..."

"....Man, that again. Of course...You're my only little brother too..."

Daniel had no idea when he fell asleep. When he woke up, morning had arrived.

"...Wha...oh shoot! It's morning already! I have to prepare for my work today!"

"Hey, kids, you had a good night sleep? Wow, this is nostalgic. Like when you two were still babies."
Axel sat, watching the two while floating around the room.

"Father! You're to blame! Do you know how wasted you were last night? You even let my little brother drink."

"Hahaha, for just a little. When I was a king, I had to be serious all the way even when I was hungry or thirsty for wine. I couldn't even get drunk in front of you, Skyler."

"I wouldn't blame you. I wanted to see you just be yourself too. Being a king is such a stressful business."

"Then how about we drink together next time, son?"

"No! Father, no! I'll only drink a little in an event!"

For a while, Martino sobered up.

"Oh, ouch, my head. Whoa! Brother! Father! Why are you two in my room?"

"Your drunkard, don't you realized you kept me here!"

"What!? What did I do to you!? Ahh, damn. I won't touch alcohol again!"

His headache was getting was with his shame, he couldn't even look at his brother.

"Why you two. You two were cute sleeping together. I even took picture."

"What! No, Father, delete it now!!" The two raised their voices.

"No way! I have to share this among my friends, hahahah."

After breakfast, Daniel went about his duty while Axel went back to Land of the Afterlife. Martino spent his time in the palace's garden, figuring out how Magic Crystal work.
