"Usagi, please wake up! You are going to make me late!" I shouted at my sister. I could leave without her but we always went to school together so I felt the need to wait.
"Late?" She mumbled, waking up. She slowly grabbed her alarm clock and looked at the time. "Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" she panicked, jumping out of the bed and rushing to get ready.
"I've been trying to wake you for the past five minutes." I told her.
"You have no right to talk. It took me almost ten minutes to wake you up." Luna commented. And I gave her the shushing symbol with my hand. "You both stayed up late again, didn't you?" We hurried downstairs and greeted our mom sitting at the table reading the newspaper.
"Good morning!" we yelled as we quickly grabbed our lunches and ran out the door to school.
"Bye!"
"Take care!"
We made our way down the street, walking fast so we aren't too late for school. On the other side of the street there was a large group of security all along the road blocking a portion.
"So many police officers are out today." I noticed Usagi not looking where she was going and almost walking into the busy street. I grabbed her by the shirt and pulled her back on the sidewalk.
"Be careful Usagi, you have to watch where you are going." I suggested.
"I know." She frowned. "Hey Luna, can we transform into marathon runners?" Usagi suggested.
"Of course not!" Luna replied.
"Boo, why not?" The light went green and the cars stopped allowing us to cross. "Alright, let's run as fast as we can!" Usagi cheered and started running. I laugh to myself and take off after my sister.
"Good morning!" we said as we entered the class. We had made it just after the bell sounded signalling the start of class.
"You both are safe today." Naru smiled.
